I would like to see a ammendment pass by the State of Florida for all Seniors of the age 65 + and over should be issured Free bus passes to ride the bus locallly and have the convience of good bus transportation. I live in Saint Cloud Florida, and I noticed that there is limited bus transportation locally to get to where I like to go. There aren't any buses that ride up and down Highway 192 conviently to go to the stores on this hightway and even to Disneyland.

Everyone awoke to the horror of the tragic news that a gunman opened fire at the screening of the new Batman movie in Aurora, CO that killed at least 12 innocent people and wounded many more. As our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and their families, we must realize that Cinemark Theaters and the city council of Aurora, Colorado has a municipal ordinance which makes it illegal for citizens that have Concealed Carry Permits (CCW/CCP) to carry into a premises that has posted "no guns" signs. In other words, the city gave private signage the force of law. Cinemark theaters has had a no guns policy for some time, and has asked law-abiding citizens to leave for exercising their Constitutional right to legal armed self-defense. Please join us in signing this petition to have the Mayor of Aurora and Cinemark Theaters hear our voice to allow citizens to legally carry and help secure public safety.

Corruption within the Maine Department of Public Safety. When my son was discovered deceased, his unattended death was terribly mishandled. Even though he had obvious injuries to his face and forehead, the responding officers - instead of calling in a coroner - elected to label his death an alcohol or drug overdose! They did not photograph his face.Instead, they repositioned his rigored body from lying face up across a bed with his feet on the floor, to kneeling on the floor with his face pressed down on the bed to disguise the large bruise as levidity. If not for a conversation with the funeral home transport driver, I would never have known that this took place. After the medical examiner confirmed that my son had multiple injuries to his face and body - which should have been regarded as suspicious by police - I demanded an explanation. I soon found that no one in the entire Department wanted to address it at all. Even though evidence of foul play has surfaced and individuals have gone to police with information, the case remains smothered. This whole thing leaves me to wonder how often these things take place. How many other families are out there who have suffered the same injustices? Why do the state police have such unlimited discretion that they can do whatever they choose with no fear of repraisal? Who can Maine citizens trust?

States that require photo I.D.s for voters should be obliged to provide mobile units in areas where the office is 5 or miles away. These units should be placed outside of churches and supermarkets for ease of use by those who cannot get to Motor Vehicle Departments.

The owners of this shop recently turned away a gay couple shopping for a wedding cake because they "don't serve gay weddings." This is an extremely exciting and special time in a young couples' lives, an experience they'll hopefully never have again. They've spent time dreaming up their perfect day to celebrate their love and commitment to each other, and they admiringly chose this business to add one of the most traditional pieces to their ceremony: the cake. But they were denied service because of their sexuality. As a member of the LGBT community in the area, I am appalled at this abhorrent behavior. We need to send a message to them that in this day and age, bigotry cannot and will not be tolerated. I'm not sure how the cakes taste, but I know how bigotry and hate tastes and it is disgusting.

I personally take offense to all the hate-fueled talk from Michelle Bachmann. She's a bigot who doesn't care for the American people unless they are white, straight, and share her exact religious views.
