  • CEO of the Year
We need a contests to name a CEO of the year. A company leader that does real good in the community or the Country and a prize in the form of a grant to be given to a favorite charity of that CEO. We need to make generosity and civic concern more popular. Greed is shameful and we need to make that more public as well.

  • Stop multiple media ownership in a given city
We are now down to six (6) media organizations in this country. The FCC is considering a process that would allow a given media giant to own TV, Radio, and Print media - all in a given city. This will stifle open discussion even more. We will all be affected by biased news to an even greater extent.

  • Break up the largest Wall St. Banks
Everyone in America should be concerned about these six banks which control close to 60 trillion U.S. dollars. Why? These banks are FDIC insured because they are now mortgage banks. No matter what laws have been written since there last collapse, the American tax payer is still on the hook. Secondly, they wield way too much power on Congress since insider trading is not illegal for our elected representatives. Thirdly, we need to now enforce the Volcker Rule and Glass Stiegall to protect Americans and hold the CEOs accountable for their hedge fund bets and derivative bundled packages. Investment banks should not be mortgage lending institutions.

  • FCC Restrictions for Media Consolidation
Media consolidation is dangerous to our democracy. We need a knowledgeable citizenry informed on issues that affecting each of us in the most critical ways. How can we vote on issues or candidates when the media has control of the information. The FCC needs to start pulling licenses of those who do not offer real news and info on a regular basis, and also needs to insist on more limited ownership of tv, radio, internet, print, so that no market is saturated with one corp. Also, a limit on how much each corp can own, insist that they divest since it has become too monopolized. Inn the 80's , 50 owners of tv, radio, newspapers, now there are only 6. Outrageous.

  • Re-instate Glass-Steagall Act
The most sensible financial reform would be to separate sound banking practices from gambling via derivatives trading and other activities such as High Frequency Trading ( now 70% of all stock trading). Simply re-instating the Glass-Steagall Act, which kept banks from reckless speculation and entering other business areas, would be a true return to sensible policies of the past. As legendary former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volker has stated, " The only worthwhile innovation in Banking in the last 30 years was the ATM machine."
