• Allow Universities and Colleges to have In-Person classes in the Fall.
College students are struggling and our grades are suffering from being forced to take online courses. We did not sign up or pay for an online education. We paid for the experience and in-person instruction.

  • Governor Polis: Provide Federal & State funding (and/or tax credits) for teachers
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Colorado teachers have had to adjust to "at-home" virtual classrooms; the demands on them have been longer days (without additional pay), "home-office" expenses, increased utilities during these teaching sessions, and increased workloads to accommodate individual student/parent interactions. Now, Governor Polis is suggesting that these alternative teaching methods (and virtual classrooms) may continue beyond this 2020 spring school year and extend into the fall, impacting the 2020-2021 school year. Our educators cannot physically, emotionally, and psychologically carry this entire burden. Governor Polis needs to publicly support this proposal and sign it as part his upcoming budget approval process.

  • Pentagram/Satanic symbol on children's online game site. Remove it.
This inverted Pentagram/satanic symbol is offensive, and has hidden meanings. This is important for those who enjoy playing a safe, stable, family-friendly game, such as Star Stable. Although designed for girls, many other adults, and youth, find it fun to visit, and play, on this site. It helps to foster many fine traits, such as kindness to animals, group cooperation, and enjoyment of natural surroundings. Here is a recent remark on this game site: “Star Stable is one of my favorite games of all time, and is definitely worth a play. There's something to offer for all ages and the continuous new content keeps you engaged. If your child is under twelve, monitor them, but this game is safe for young children as well.” Parent reviews for Star Stable | Common Sense Media www.commonsensemedia.org › star-stable › user-reviews › adult

  • Martial Arts academies soft reopening in CT
There are many essential workers like the governor, police, doctors, EMT workers, correction officers, store workers, food workers, kids, teens and all Americans who need to reduce their high levels of stress during these unprecedented times. Martial arts schools are equipped with Heavy bags, in many cases spaced out, and can provide great instructed classes. Considering this will create a sense of normality and have these frontliners, along with the American people, feel great and ready to report to work feeling strong and healthy. As we know, a healthy immune system is ideal to fight the Covid-19; this will also help with all the stress eating that is going around, which is creating a bigger problem in the health of many families. The governor of CT has shut down gyms and fitness centers as well Martial Arts academies and has deemed them non-essential. We are essential, especially when the mission is to keep kids, teens, and adults active and healthy, which is ideal given the current situation. Support the movement of healthy living and support the martial arts community.

  • Tattoo Shops/One Client At A Time (Soft Opening April 27, 2020)
Ever since COVID-19 it has been affecting us in major ways and forcing people to make tough decisions for their families. We are going through financial hardship. we were promised bail outs through small business loans or grants. Yet the government has made the stipulations on these grants nearly impossible for our type of business to qualify for the loan to become a grant. Most tattoo shops if not all tattoo shops have been/ will be denied . We have no help when we have been promised help. The Quarantine was implemented to flatten the curve of the spread of COVID-19 to assure that hospitals were not overwhelmed all the once in to help prevent such a rapid spread . The numbers of infected people is on the decline . We tattoo artists are trained and certified in blood-borne pathogen‘s and cross-contamination as well as many other medical safety and sterility procedures we are just as safe if not safer than most hospitals. tattoo shops are very clean we take this serious this is our livelihood if we do not return back to work by May 1st many small businesses will be lost . We will not be able to pay our bills, rents/mortgages, Insurances, we have the very potentially of losing everything. We still have to pay our mortgages/ rents and phone bills and gas and electric none of this has stopped for us . Yes, we can postpone them, but they’re not going away! Some of us can still sustain for a while, but that doesn’t mean that we are doing OK this is how we pay our bills this is how we feed our families and we are not getting any help from anyone, nor are we asking for it. We just want to be allowed to return to work in a safe manor

  • Hair salons/ one-on-one soft opening April 27th
Because we are on week 4 of no pay. We are more sanitary than grocery stores, wal-mart, liquor stores etc. We can take all necessary precautions in order to provide the safety of not only our clients but ourselves. If our governor and his sidekick can have a double standard we can reopen for business with the safety of our community in mind. The reality of it is people are giving house calls to survive. 5.2 million people have filed for unemployment. Crashing the economy is not the answer.
