IT IS "Supposed to be" a PROTECTED TREE! The Only Experts who say the Tree will survive a move are the EXPERTS BEING PAID BY THE DEVELOPER and they are THE ONLY ONES WHO SAY THE RAIN TREE CAN SURVIVE on this too small lot. IF THE FORT LAUDERDALE RAIN TREE IS MOVED THE DEVELOPERS OF MARINA LOFTS ENDANGERS ITS EXISTENCE.

The US Military, in an attempt to "control the weather", is spraying deadly chemicals into the atmosphere. These chemicals affect me as well as others with Multiple Chemical Sensitivities and Environmental Illness. This spraying also affects crops and makes it a challenge for "organic growers" to maintain chemical free produce. Times of sunny, clear days when spraying occurs can result in me having to use a walker to get around; time spent hooked up to my O2 machine; and time confined to bed. We deserve clean air.

We are pulling resources from the earth in a non-sustainable way. As software is constantly being upgraded, older printers, computers and more are no longer supported and often replaced and discarded. We need more backward compatibility, upgradability and the ability to repair rather than discard.

As citizens, we have a stake in the operation of the White House. After all, our tax dollars pay to heat, cool and light the place. The President had said in 2009 he would like to have solar panels on the White House. I would like for those Americans who believe in using all energy resources available start a campaign for private citizens to raise the money to be able to cover the White House's power needs. The plan would be for private donations to be taken to cover the material and labor costs. All donors would be recognized by engraving their names on the solar panel frames like some charity campaigns use when donors have their names etched in bricks for a memorial walkway. Unlike Ralph Lauren's Olympic Uniforms, every single component of the system, from the mounting bolts, to the wiring, to the solar panels and inverters would be American made. Today, Solar power is economically justified when you are planning on using it longer than 5 - 10 years. Well, the White House will be around long enough to receive the payback. Yes! The climate change we all have been experienced the last 5 years, is a direct result of the deforestation of the entire globe. And if, we do not do somenthing radical right now, just watch worse consecuences to be happen in the near future.

Writing-Climate Change 2/5/2013 Climate change is not just another issue. It is the issue beyond all issues. It is the turning point of the planet towards its demise - or the demise of the people and other living things upon it. To believe that it is another issue like economic justice, gay rights, legalizing marijuana, or ending the war, is to be caught in the mass hypnosis of our times. This is the most pivotal issue of existence, the impact of which will be felt for all time. We are the pivotal generation. The crime of climate change is that it is imposed on all people's of the earth. It results in huge suffering, wars, mass starvation and death. First islands will go and cities on low lying coasts. People in third world nations will be without food and water. Extreme and deadly climate events will destroy the economy, raising prices and leading to more misery. They will take the lives of many and destroy their property and livelihood. The seasons for most will become more difficult to endure. The future of our children and our grandchildren is being destroyed. We are deciding to allow the sickening and dying for the planet for all time and all beings. We cannot stand by as this happens. We must cry out in huge numbers and say: Stop! Climate change cannot be allowed and must be reversed. This is non-negotiable. We have broken our hypnosis. To risk the planet for the sake of the greed of private enterprise is not just a political position you can be for or against. It is the biggest crime ever perpetuated. It is the murder of the planet. It is a crime before which all other crimes pale. Stop! This is not the work of the moral. God does not condone this. Nor does Jesus Christ, Buddha, Mohammad.
