• Governor Cuomo: Ban Fracking Statewide!
Gas and oil production are up nationally by 25 percent this year, yet Americans are still freezing to death each winter because they have had to make the choice between buying food and buying fuel. But energy is our number one export, and the gas and oil companies are sellling our precious resources to foreign buyers who can pay much more. Fracking, an environmentally perilous technology, is motivated not by necessity but by greed.

We must knit the United States together with a high speed rail system at least as fast as that of China.

  • GMO's have no place in our food supply.
Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) contamination of our food supply must stop! Protecting our food suppy, especially for our children, should be our top priority. The FDA must be brought to account for its continued negligence and cronyism with multi-nationals like Monsanto, who are profiting at the expense of our health.

  • wildlife preserves
I believe there are not a lot of wildlife preserves in the United States of America.I also think there are not enough of wildlife preserves by the water for in-dangered species that live in the water like the Loggerhead turtles and whales.

  • ban hydrofracking in NY
I dont wish to be poisoned by a practice that everyone knows is unsafe. Hydrofracking will destroy our enviroment, ruin our rural infrastructure and lay waste on the poorest of people all of who will b affected. Furthermore, it will not create the jobs promised like the big fatcat gasbags talk about. A few diners and flophouses may benefit, but thats all. The majority of the jobs go to roughnecks from Texas and Oklahoma, two states that they've already poisoned

  • Water over Oil
We are all affected by the drought and we all pay for it in so many ways. We cannot drink oil or oil our crops. One of the solutions is so simple and can be implemented quickly and easily in all new construction without too much, if any, increase in the cost of the building/home.

  • Stop the Arizona GOP from brainwashing our children
AZ State Attorny Tom Horne thinks school kids K-12 should be taught a "balanced approach" to climate change. This is just another attempt to "dumb down" our children and waste tax dollars on new text books!

  • Governor Brown: Save our State and protect a finite water source.
My monthly water dept. bill is huge and I live in a home with only two people. This is distressing but I am worried that the over-population and over-building in California will create even more water shortages, especially in draught years, which are inevitable. It doesn't seem right to be in denial that there is no way to create more water which agriculture and cities depend upon.

  • Tracking the Pack WOLF 832F LAW
IN December, wolf 832F ventured out of her territory in Yellowstone’s Lamar Valley. As soon as she left the park, she lost its protections, and the wolf, a 6-year-old alpha female, was shot and killed by a hunter. Dear President Obama, US Congress, Governors, and State Legislatures, We would like to enact the WOLF 832F LAW. This law would prohibit anyone from injuring or killing a wolf wearing an expensive GPS tracking color. Most of the time these wolves are the ALPHA wolves in their pack. When they are killed, the pack is without it's leader. The ALPHA wolves are critical for the packs survival. Along with providing scientists with valuable information about their every move and give them insight into their lives.

  • Fewer than 100 Wild Red Wolves Remain in the World
The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission recently approved a temporary state rule that allows spotlight hunting of coyotes at night throughout the state, including in the area inhabited by the only wild population of red wolves, one of the world’s most endangered animals. Red wolves and coyotes look a lot alike, even in daylight. In nighttime conditions, it is nearly impossible to tell them apart. At least two wolves have already been illegally shot. Tell the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission: Don’t let anymore wolves die! Stop all coyote hunting -- daytime or nighttime -- within the red wolf recovery area!
