Governor Brown: Save our State and protect a finite water source. My monthly water dept. bill is huge and I live in a home with only two people. This is distressing but I am worried that the over-population and over-building in California will create even more water shortages, especially in draught years, which are inevitable. It doesn't seem right to be in denial that there is no way to create more water which agriculture and cities depend upon.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Karen Case

Tracking the Pack WOLF 832F LAWIN December, wolf 832F ventured out of her territory in Yellowstone’s Lamar Valley. As soon as she left the park, she lost its protections, and the wolf, a 6-year-old alpha female, was shot and killed by a hunter. Dear President Obama, US Congress, Governors, and State Legislatures, We would like to enact the WOLF 832F LAW. This law would prohibit anyone from injuring or killing a wolf wearing an expensive GPS tracking color. Most of the time these wolves are the ALPHA wolves in their pack. When they are killed, the pack is without it's leader. The ALPHA wolves are critical for the packs survival. Along with providing scientists with valuable information about their every move and give them insight into their lives.88 of 100 SignaturesCreated by DEBRA L. WARRENS

Fewer than 100 Wild Red Wolves Remain in the WorldThe North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission recently approved a temporary state rule that allows spotlight hunting of coyotes at night throughout the state, including in the area inhabited by the only wild population of red wolves, one of the world’s most endangered animals. Red wolves and coyotes look a lot alike, even in daylight. In nighttime conditions, it is nearly impossible to tell them apart. At least two wolves have already been illegally shot. Tell the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission: Don’t let anymore wolves die! Stop all coyote hunting -- daytime or nighttime -- within the red wolf recovery area!132 of 200 SignaturesCreated by DEBRA L. WARRENS

Saving Trees By Stopping ConstructionWhen I went to Florida, I realized just how many trees were tore down for construction purposes, such as building a "dream" home. Not to mention the fact that many animals and insects do not have a consistent food source, and home. While it would not be logical to stop tree cutting for construction purposes altogether, we must limit the number of trees construction destroys.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by David G.

A trapped animal is a terrified animal in unimaginable agony, exposed to predators and the elements, dehydration, starvation, and extreme psychological distress in separation from their young--finally meeting a brutal end.6,015 of 7,000 SignaturesCreated by DEBRA L. Save Thousands of trees in Sutro ForestSan Francisco has a unique treasure - an 80-acre cloud forest only 1000 feet above sea level, in the heart of the city. Now the public university, University of California, San Francisco - one of the world's leading medical schools - plans to destroy 30,000 trees and the whole cloud forest ecosystem. [UPDATE 2017: UCSF has issued another Plan in which it revises its estimate for the number of trees in the forest from around 45,000 to... around 13,000. But it still plans to cut down over half of them, around 6-7,000 trees. FRACKINGLet's delay fracking in New York State! Gas companies are not declaring what chemicals and dangers thereof being used in hydo-fracking process. Many of my associates are extremely opposed to such a process due to the above reasoning. Think about New York State and the horrors of chemical spills into our water supply. Your dad would not appove if you were to sanction hydro-fracking!!13 of 100 SignaturesCreated by harriet sutherland
