• Get Scott Pruitt Out of the EPA
Pruitt has worked to derail more environmental safeguards in a shorter period of time than ever before in EPA’s 47-year history—all while spending close to $43,000 of taxpayer money to ensure nobody at EPA overhears his conversation with the President or the oil and gas industry executive he routinely hosts in his office. It's time to get him out of the EPA.

  • Tell Congress to Support the Endangered Species Act
America’s most vulnerable wildlife is in jeopardy—because Congress is considering multiple attacks on the Endangered Species Act. This is an outrageous assault on America’s natural heritage. We can’t let it stand.

  • Asking ABTA to have a Vote on the 2018 Bag limits
The ABTA has Taken a stance to NOT make a Recommendation on the BAG LIMIT Issue for June 1st. As Powers that Be will not be happy with the outcome of a Majority Vote. Its an Open Access Fishery and it should be regulated for All and not the Few. Last Season it was so critical for us to have a Vote yet this year after an awful and marginally profitable 2017 summer season it is thought to have no vote at all? But Increased Quota. Why is this? Fall out from boats that have entered the General Category in recent years may fall back into the Harpoon Category if bag limits are reduced, thus increasing pressure on the quota of the Harpoon Category. The ABTA is saying that it is best to not make a Recommendation and that regardless if a recommendation was made that the Agency NMFS will not listen to them. Why did the Agency NMFS listen and put forth the outcome of a Majority Vote last season but allegedly doesn't care this year? Why might this be? Could it be that know that by not taking a vote and by not making a bag limit suggestion that the Inner Circle will be able to achieve their Agenda regardless? By Not Making a recommendation from a majority vote of the permit holders within the fishery the Agency NMFS will default to a 3/4/5 fish bag limit as NMFS are fisheries managers with a job to allow practices and adjustments to make sure the quota gets filled. So that it is viewed that they managed the fishery correctly They are already Paid by our Tax Dollars, They are not concerned with what the fisherman actually make in proceeds from the fishery Yet Management of the fishery to capitalize on the financial aspect of the fishery as well as achieving the quota is possible and that is what the ABTA is for to protect our fishery, fisherman, resource, and push the fishery so that all that part take in the commercial aspect of the fishery are given the best possible situation to feed their family from an Open Access Commercial Fishery. We all Pay a portion of our fish to the ABTA, Yet why don't they care what the Majority wants?

  • Tell the City of St. Cloud, FL. No to the Annexation and Rezoning of 5150 Starline Dr, St. Cloud,...
Our rural neighborhood, a designated rural enclave in the county, would be broken by the annexation and rezoning of one of the parcels, to allow what is called "Mixed Use" development. Mixed Use would allow the building of up to 25 homes per acre, commercial retail, and as the current concept plan presented, a 4 lane connector onto our single lane improved dirt road as the main access to the nearest main road. This connector would have the potential of adding an additional 2000 vehicles at the main drive times, from the 6 neighborhoods it would service. Because of this, we the residents of Star Line Estates and outside supporters do not agree with the annexation and future land use and zoning change requested by Center Lake Properties. 5150 Star Line Dr (Legal Description- Starline Estates Unit 2 PB 2 Pg 220 Lot 19) is located in an Osceola County rural enclave called Starline Estates with a current zoning of agricultural/conservation. The request to annex this one lot into the city and change the future land use and zoning to mixed use is not compatible with the surrounding properties or to the neighborhood. An annexation of lot 19 into the City would ruin the character of the rural enclave. All lots, including lot 19, within Star Line Estates, are subject to Deed restrictions recorded in Osceola County records book 448 page 567. The requested annexation followed by a change to the zoning and future land use is NOT compatible with these restrictions. The use of lot 19 by any means other than what is specified in the deed restrictions would be detrimental to our quiet rural way of life.

  • Wonderful: Stop Oil Wastewater Irrigation Now!
Our country's multi-billion dollar food industry is allowing that our produce is used by destructive oil companies like Chevron as a disposal site for their oil wastewater. Water samples have determined that the wastewater contains toxic chemicals, some that are linked to cancer and reproductive harm. Known for nationally sold brands like POM Wonderful, Wonderful Pistachios, and Halos mandarins, Wonderful has the political influence to stop this!

  • Save The Bangerter Family Farm In Farmington
The Bangerter family farm in Farmington, which provides fresh and local produce throughout northern Utah, is in jeopardy of being lost, in order for Farmington City to relocate soccer fields that are being paved over to put in a new highway. There are many other locations where soccer fields can be put, other than a producing farm. Farmington City should look elsewhere. Farmington City should also support the Bangerter family's petition to protect the farm under the Utah Agriculture Protection Act.

  • Reject WSDOT request for a 1-year noise variance for Viaduct Demolition
We are appealing SDCI's decision to grant the noise variance requested by WSDOT for the Alaskan Way Viaduct demolition. We have until 29 March 2018 to file our appeal. We ask that the noise variance is rescinded and ask the City to consider other options than working through the night. We also ask that any future noise variance application contain all the details of what will be done to mitigate the noise and not refer to a framework of possible actions. Additionally, there should be real-time public access to noise monitoring and transparency with respect to complaints with a review board consisting of representatives from the community affected.

  • Stop TECO Solar Plant Dade City
Who lives in the Dade City/San Ann Area because they one day dreamed a Solar Plant would be in their backyard? No one! This is our town, our background a tranquil place where we want to settle. People build dream houses here and families, not a giant Solar Plant that requires a special exemption permit from TECO to change the zoning from 'Agricultural'. 350 acres of beautiful agricultural land will be destroyed and the natural habitat for many of the state's wildlife will be destroyed. Stop this project that is empowering big business over the people.
