President Obama: Apologize to Pakistan NOWAfter investigating the nature of the late November NATO/Afghan attack upon an unmarked Pakistani military outpost, the United States must accept culpability for egregious errors that resulted in the death of 24 soldiers among many more who were injured. While Pakistan has not been the partner that America has desired, these soldiers' lives are as valuable as any other. President Obama should apologize to Pakistan and those officers who are culpable for this tragedy should be held to account.57 of 100 SignaturesCreated by C. Christine Fair

BRING TROOPS HOME FROM AFGHANISTANThe majority of Americans no longer support war in the Middle East. Time to bring our troops home from Afghanistan--because if we follow the path we are now on, more than 2,000 more Americans will be killed or blown up. Just as the guy in Utah who was pulled out from under the burnig behicle by 12 heroes--anyone who signs can possibly become a hero by saving America's finest.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Jeannie Jackson

Stop Election Fraud by Kabila in the CongoIn the December 13, 2011 editorial, The Financial Times ("Kabila’s Charades Cost Congo Dearly" - FT.com), cites the Carter Center calling results of the "election" of incumbent President Kabila of the Democratic Republic of Congo as "lacking credibility". The Catholic Church, which had deployed 30,000 observers, also cried foul. FT.com concludes that Kabila should not be allowed to get away with fraud... The World should beware of complicity.3,946 of 4,000 SignaturesCreated by Mupopa Tshibuabua

No US Troops to AustraliaPlease petition your congressional representatives and the president to demand that U.S. troops being removed from Iraq be returned home to bases here in the U.S. where it will benefit Americans. Wasting huge sums of money on a new base in Australia is an idiotic move.11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Edward Stewart

End U.S. WarsHalf of our discretionary budget is spent on the military. That money would be much better spent on helping people instead of killing them.14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Bonnie Lynn Mitchell-Green

Sanction Israel for Illegal Settlement BuildingUS taxpayers subsidize the Israeli military machine to the tune of $3+ billion per year and yet the Netanyahu government feels no compulsion to refrain from it's fast and furious annexation of land and expropriation of resources in the illegally occupied West Bank and inhumane treatment and expropriation of resources (gas) off the coast of Gaza. Israel should be held accountable. No more money while these illegal activities continue. The "security" wall is an annexation wall and should be moved to Israel's side of the border instead of snaking through the occupied territories to steal more land for the settlers.27 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Noreen T

Urge Washington to support human rights in BahrainBahrain's Sunni-led monarchy has cracked down severly on the mostly peaceful protests in that country. The protests have been led by the country's Shiite majority. Saudi tanks have assisted the monarchy in its brutal attacks on Bahraini citizens. President Obama has deplored precisely this kind of brutality in other countries, but he has turned a deaf ear regarding Bahrain. The US Navy's Fifth Fleet is based in Bahrain. The security of Bahrain rests on this Fifth Fleet, creating a situation in which the opinion of the United States matters in Bahrain. Yet President Obama and the American Congress continue to ignore or soft-pedal the gross human rights abuses in Bahrain. It is time for America to stand strong on our ideals of freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, and the rights of a people to be heard. The United States speaks up officially in support of democratic goals in Egypt and Libya, while ignoring the police-state tactics of the monarchy in Bahrain. Please sign this petition to urge President Obama to speak out about these abuses, and to put pressure on the Bahraini monarchy to cease its persecution of those who speak for democratic ideals in Bahrain. Urge the President to use his huge influence to stop the torture, detention and other abuses in Bahrain.53 of 100 SignaturesCreated by William House

Bring our troops home now!The US wars in Afghanistan and Iraq aren't making us any safer. Instead they destroy lives and incite anti-American rage. And they cost trillions of dollars that we need to educate and employ our citizens and rebuild our crumbling infrastructure.27 of 100 SignaturesCreated by L. Michael Hager

Cease US pro-aggressive actions such as the war on terror, in favor of diplomacy and grant all na...The attacks with military drones and long distanced, technologically advanced weapons has made it an unfair playing field in the favor of us, the United States of America, and our reaction without thinking to 9/11 that led to other preemptive actions, made our future a war without any definable end, a War On Terror, that only we as citizens and politicians can end by our act of withdrawing our pro-aggressive forces abroad and better use our troops to defend our country at home and assist families in need.24 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Donald R.
