The California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) and the New York State Common Retirement Fund have a long history of leadership on ethics, corporate governance, and transparency. As fiduciaries, they also have a responsibility to act according to the highest ethical standards and legal standards and to avoid conflicts of interest.

The U.S. Capitol should not be a home to symbols of white supremacy and slavery. Unfortunately, there are multiple statues in the U.S. Capitol's Statuary Hall that do exactly that. These statues represent the faces of the Confederacy, and they must be moved out of the U.S. Capitol building and into a museum.
