The Whitehouse seems unable to stop Trump's reckless tweets that threaten to bring the world into nuclear war. CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey has said that Trump's tweets keep him accountable, but according to strategic analysts they are now seen as the Leader's Word by both North Korea and US allies alike. We call on Twitter to act on behalf of all world citizens and immediately and urgently suspend Trump's account before any more incendiary tweets reach Pyongyang.

Since Citizens United gave corporations the same right to affect politics as people, we demand that corporations also share in the responsibility to be good citizens. I have heard lectures on the subject and it makes sense to me to start with campaign finance reform to begin to elect people who are there to serve the people, not the special interests.

This bill is designed to make a deal with a company that will set up cameras throughout the state to check license plates and find out-of-state drivers who lack insurance or registration. When these drivers are caught and have to pay fines, the company will keep half the money. But since these cameras see the license plates of everyone who drives, companies that process this data can figure out who's driving where and sell that information. The bill doesn't do anything to stop these companies from selling or misusing the information, and it should. When the government decides to have a camera system set up like this, the law should say clearly that it's not okay to abuse the system.

I fear Trump may push the nuclear button if he thinks he can save himself by doing so.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has joined forces with Democratic Senator Cory Booker to help prevent Donald Trump from firing Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Mueller, who recently expanded his investigations team and impaneled a grand jury in Washington, is leading the only viable investigation into Russia's meddling in last November's election and Trump's involvement. This investigation has broad public support. Trump has continued to rage against the Russia investigation, Mueller, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions, publicly threatening a broad range of highly disruptive actions, which Democrats and Republicans alike have warned against. The Graham-Booker legislation simply mandates judicial review of any decision to terminate Mueller and seeks to minimize the impact of Trump's intimidation and thwart his interference. Every member of the U.S. Senate should support this bipartisan initiative.

Sen. McConnell has ignored his constituents for decades. His White House office has been unable to handle phone calls from constituents to express their concerns about Trumpcare.

Trump and his administration are discriminating against different groups (Muslims, immigrants, transgenders, and women) and now the administration is claiming that civil rights do not apply to gay people. Every being deserves to be treated fairly and without prejudice. When one group is attacked, we are all under attack and should stand up for each other and try to bring some civility back to this nation.
