To strengthen the quality of presidential applicants whereby exemplary standards are required and expected. The nature of the position directly impacts thoughts and behaviors of children, adolescents and young adults.

Recently, authorities removed 310 animals from Friends for Life, including the therapy dogs that are owned by the three volunteers that reside there. We, the undersigned, are against the closure of the Friends For Life facility, and support the return of the animals seized.

Thousands of historic Massachusetts law library books are being shredded. In Massachusetts, we have a Constitutional Right to free legal advice, Article 11, of the Massachusetts Constitutional Declaration of Rights, which is guaranteed by the Massachusetts County Law Libraries. These books belong to the Citizens of Massachusetts, and they are being destroyed. They must be protected.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is known for its poor ethical track record and constant abuse of power when it comes to enforcing our nation’s immigration laws. Under the Donald Trump’s Administration, ICE has gone from bad to worse. Now, ICE is actively taking advice from hate groups to shape our nation’s immigration policies. Recently, the Daily Beast reported how two known hate groups, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) and the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), are actively conspiring with Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) to help craft national immigration policy. FAIR and CIS are known for their ties to white supremacist groups and racist statements, and Donald Trump has already begun implementing some of their most racist proposals, including defunding sanctuary cities, reviving a controversial program that would deputize local police as federal immigration agents, and expediting the deportation of immigrants across the nation. If we want to keep Donald Trump from destroying our American values, then we must pressure federal agencies like ICE to stop meeting with hate groups like FAIR and CIS. Please join with me and demand that ICE stops meeting with known hate groups immediately!

Our current president, a billionaire businessman, is intent on enriching himself while gutting the federal government. To achieve both goals, he has spent most weekends since the inauguration traveling to his estate in Florida, at taxpayer expense, while his sons travel internationally to promote his business ventures, also at taxpayer expense, and his current wife and young son remain in New York, at additional expense to taxpayers.

From Huffington Post: U.S. Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) has made no secret of how he views people who aren’t white, Christian or American-born. His latest public remark is being critically viewed as a paean to white nationalism by Democrats and Independents ― but not by his Republican colleagues in Congress. On Sunday afternoon, King suggested that Muslim children were preventing “our civilization” from being restored. Here's his Tweet: "Wilders understands that culture and demographics are our destiny. We can't restore our civilization with somebody else's babies." The tweet was in response to a cartoon tweeted out by an account that supports far-right European candidates and platforms. The cartoon depicts Geert Wilders, a candidate for Dutch Prime Minister, sticking his finger in a dam labeled “Western Civilization” to stop a flow of green ooze with stars and crescent moons ― a color and symbols widely associated with Islam.

I am graphic designer that pays to use Adobe products for my profession. Adobe refuses to pull their ads from Brietbart.com which puts me in a painful dilemma...follow my conscience or make a living. I have spoken to many other visual and graphic designers that feel the same way. Adobe should not put us in that position.

This is the first move to start legitimizing the collection of genetic data on American citizens. This is a repeat of the early 1920s Eugenics' movement which sought to identify races for purposes of categorizing them as pre-determination for treatment and social consideration. It is opposed by the American Society of Human Genetics which states "this bill would fundamentally undermine the privacy provisions of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)."

Our legislators don't live in the real world with their coverage. They've never suddenly found out that the facility you had been going to is no longer in your plan. With the attempt to repeal and replace the ACA, they plan to give tax credits under Trumpcare, what good are tax credits to people who already get all their withholding back.

We need to know exactly where our members of Congress stand on the repeal of the Affordable Care Act and we need to know that they're listening . It's easy for Congress to reach out directly to their constituents who sign this petition. If enough people sign in a 48-hour period, they will be sent a clean breakdown of how many constituents in their district or state have signed this petition, and it provides a link for them to reach out directly to those signers. They should use that link to let us know exactly how they will vote on the repeal of the Affordable Care Act.

End the corruption of moneyed influence on career politicians.

We need Senator Feinstein to join Kamala Harris in calling for resignation. Perjury is a serious crime for any office-holder, but especially so for a man whose agency is tasked with finding the truth. Californians need to know that Feinstein will value the truth and our country's integrity over Senate relationships and comity. Recusal is not enough!
