President Trump seems to be "smart" about not paying taxes and claims to be a billionaire, but these frequent trips to Mar-a-lago with his staff are too expensive. If he chooses to go, he should personally foot the bill.

Now we know why the Republican party wouldn't wait to confirm Pruitt, until after requested emails were released . They clearly show he is corrupt and will not be serving the public or protecting the environment. Scott Pruitt is another huge blight on the Trump administration and Republican party. Impeach him now!

I am deeply alarmed by what happened today, with respected news media being shut out of a White House briefing because of presidential pique. Even though Thomas Jefferson was frequently irritated by press coverage, he understood that a free press was more important even than government, and, given the choice, he would choose the press.

I am starting this petition because I believe in the sanctity of the United States Constitution and I believe that Senate Bill 1142—which passed the Arizona State Senate last week—erodes freedoms and protections the Constitution provides. Ultimately, this law is anti-American in its conception and purpose. If 1142 becomes law, prosecutors could charge people and seize assets for conspiracy to riot even if the so-called conspirators didn't participate in any violence. This is a clear violation of the 1st Amendment and the 14th Amendment. This terrible bill would still need to pass the Arizona State House of Representatives and then would need to be be signed into law by Governor Ducey. We must not let this happen. I plan to deliver the petition in person on the day the bill comes up for debate in the State House, and intend to be put on their calendar as a speaker. The way the law is worded, just being present at a protest where any individual commits a violent act, including property damage, can result in a RICO conviction, even if the person convicted acted peacefully. This means that a party in opposition to the initiators of the protest can come and disrupt, cause property damage or injury, and cause the innocent peaceful participants to be arrested, convicted and lose everything they own. This law is clearly designed to discourage peaceful assembly to redress grievances and all forms of dissent and protest. It is in clear violation of the Constitution of the United States and must not pass the Arizona House of Representatives nor gain the Governor's approval.

Arizona SB 1142 will allow law enforcement to seize the assets of anyone who plans or participates in a protest that disturbs the public peace or results in any property damage. The intent of the bill is to deny citizens of their freedom of speech and stop all protests in Arizona. We must stop this bill before it is signed. Otherwise, other states already lined up with prepared legislation will enact more laws prohibiting this fundamental American right.

I do not think any president should be allowed to launch a nuclear first strike with only the approval of the Secretary of Defense. I think at least a small, impartial group should have authority to block that decision. I also think someone like President Trump is likely to use this option, as he is too impulsive, and its consequences would be nothing short of disastrous for everyone on the planet.
