In 2000, Ms. Katherine Harris was Florida's Secretary of State, the official in charge of making the elections fair. She was also the chair of George W. Bush's Presidential campaign, the person in charge of making sure Bush was elected. Look what happened. In 2004, Ms. Glenda Hood was in exactly the same position. So was Mr. Ken Blackwell, Secretary of State for Ohio. Despite the obvious fact that a single person cannot be in charge of making sure an election is fair and at the same time make sure one candidate wins, there was nothing illegal about this. Congress must immediately pass a law banning this conflict of interest. Any election official who takes a job working for a candidate running in that election must be forced to resign their position.

Our politicians spend too much time and are bought. They need to get money to run for their office and to hell with the good of the country.

One way to end the dysfunction of our congress is to get new participants. If this policy is good enough for the president, it is equally good for congress.

I am starting this Petition because I and the majority of Democratic's in this Country are fed up with the disrespect and lack of support of Our President who we elected for 2 terms. We approve of his job and demand that His party in Congress who we also elected stand up for him and us. It is about time they start representing the people that elected them and stop playing politics.

Florida’s ideal way to get rid of the homeless in their downtown area is by passing a food sharing ban. Meaning you can only pass food from one hand to another in designated places that can’t be situated near another feeding site; it has to be at least 500 feet from residential property; and feed program organizers must seek permission from property owners for sites in front of their buildings. The city officials have lost their ignorant mind!!! All the money they make on tourist revenue they can’t come up with a better way to get rid of the homeless by fixing the issue not creating more damaged? Florida, and other states are so full of vain that they care more of what their state looks like than a human life? I cant believe from one human to another these states have turned that cold hearted to really try to stop someone from getting food. Not only is God frowning on but so are many people watching. its happening everywhere the latest ordinance follows others in Fort Lauderdale that banned the homeless from soliciting at the city’s busiest intersections, outlawed sleeping on public property downtown, and made it illegal for people to store personal belongings on public property. One of the reasons why God took down Sodom is because they were uncharitable and abusive to strangers, the poor, sick, and disadvantaged……. all these states & cities with these laws will suffer in the end. A wealthy states gets to behave like this because the people allow it to happen . Florida will pay for this it may not be this time around but vanity, selfishness, and cruelty will have its day …. Trust that God will prevail all involved will suffer!!! Boycott Florida and the other states that have this law …….stand up for these people who can’t stand up for themselves because they have no power. Stop feeding the politician by voting them out – funding their campaigns and supporting these inhumane laws. With A Voice Mountains Can Be Moved …. Stand your ground tell politicians how you feel!! Lift the ban on abusing the homeless peoples right to eat in places just like you and I get to eat in. scream - shout - vote lout against this behavior TAKE BACK YOUR RIGHTS- STAND UP!

Because this is taking advantage of the poor and the kind people who would like to help them. lt is the right and humane thing to do. to feed these people they should be applauded ,not fined and put in jail. l pray the judge let's this go and call it a day. please get rid of this law. lt is not pushing kindness forward. and that is what this country needs. kind people! l live here in Florida and it makes me feel ashamed to have a gov. like this..please change and get rid of this ridiculouse law in Ft. Our PSC is currently just a pawn of our legislature, our governor, and the utility companies themselves. Big donations to our politicians, are making a mockery of the term PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION. Duke Power is bilking their customers for Nuclear Plants that will never be built.

It is overdue, to remind our representatives on Capitol Hill, that they are in our service - and that as citizens, we are not in theirs. For years, our current political parties and their candidates have failed us in fostering economic development, making unbiased decisions of policy, and in uniting the nation. Not a single political figure should be able to live a more financially stable life than members of the middle class, let alone the working class, when in service to the American people. Let alone, when they do not operate in service to the American people, but rather only to themselves.

It is inhumane for a man who has fed the homeless for years to be arrested and intimidated to stop helping the unfortunate. What are these homeless people who are accustomed to meals going to do for food. This economy is hard with so many people not back on their feet. I am deeply and emotionally affected by this chain of events.
