I'm sick about reading about the arguing politicians who are not doing the people's work!

On June 27, 2014, he conducted a staged perp walk of litter suspects, even to the point of handcuffing and shackling them; and He blackballed a Nazareth resident who served his country honorably in Iraq, and who is currently employed as a Bangor police officer, from the Nazareth Police Department; and He falsely represented that this officer, a Nazareth resident, had been involuntarily committed, and attempted to get him fired in Bangor with the same false representation; and He has avoided hiring military veterans, instead hiring officers who were either fired by or left other departments knowing they were about to be fired; and He has refused to take any disciplinary action against a part-time police officer engaged in an an on-duty affair, despite complaints from numerous Nazareth residents, including Gehret; and He refused to take any disciplinary action against another part-time police officer (ERIC SCHWAB) who, after responding to a domestic disturbance on June 9, 2014, returned and drank with one of the victims; and He has created a culture of intolerance for any criticism of the police department that resulted in Officer Eric Schwab posting a Facebook comment asking fellow police officers to "light this fucker up" in response to factual criticisms made by O'Hare on his blog; and He has usurped the authority of Borough Council with criminal prosecutions and threats of criminal prosecution, including a file on each member of Council; and He has forced the ouster of long-time members of the Police Committee, and He has used Borough resources (the state police crime lab control number) to request investigation, not of crime in Nazareth, but criminal mischief directed at him in Bushkill Township; and He abused borough resources by using the borough control number to request a state police criminal background check for a part-time Nazareth police officer who was applying for full-time jobs in other municipalities, falsely indicating it was for an investigation.

The American Legislative Exchange Council is an organization consisting of global corporate interests and state legislators that collaborate secretly to draft thousands of model bills that are then introduced simultaneously, in state capitols throughout the country. Meeting in backrooms, wined and dined by corporate lobbyists like the Koch Brothers, Geo and Corrections Corporation of America (the private prison industry) the NRA, and the lobby to privatize our once great public school system, is not democracy of, by and for the people. When you have government by the private prison industry, The NRA, or by the Koch Brothers, you have a culture where prison is encouraged by the school to prison pipeline, young black men are shot down with impunity, and a world where environmental degradation and climate change are the price we all must pay for business as usual. Some ALEC bills you may recognize: "Stand Your Ground Laws," promoted by the NRA; "Right to Work Legislation" supported by the Koch Brothers and other corporate interests, designed to kill living wages, and public pensions; voter ID laws, to kill democracy; bills to kill meaningful healthcare reform; the Parental Choice Scholarship Act that promotes vouchers and sends our tax dollars to for-profit schools and phony online degree programs. According to Progress Florida, out of 160 state legislators, at least 60 have known ALEC ties. It’s well past time to stop the flow of dirty money into our state legislatures. We must demand our elected officials stop subverting democracy and drop their memberships in ALEC-let’s have government of, by, and for the people once again.

Regulators and executives are going to have friendships with each other. But when a corporation like Comcast is about to make a multi-billion merger, it's hard to view antitrust officials' cozy emails to high-up execs as impartial.

The Supreme Court has gutted more than one hundred years of campaign finance laws and given corporations and the rich even more power over our government -- with the outrageous rationale that limiting spending on elections limits speech. If our democratic system of representative government is to survive, these deeply damaging rulings must be overturned. SB 1272 will put a proposition on this November's ballot that will let California voters demand that Congress create a constitutional amendment to do so. Ask Governor Brown to sign it now!

Minor v.State,819 n.w.2d 383,406 (Iowa 2012). Where the basis of a plaintiffs’ claim is one of the causes of action on this list, or its equivalent, the government official is immune. Id. Ms.Fuegen Sellers is immune against the claims for slander and libel as they are explicitly on the list of excluded claims. She is also immune to allegations of physical and mental abuse, which are not torts, but appear to be functional equivalent of assault. She is also immune to the claims of obtaining false information and" breech of verbal contract" as they are the equivalent of misrepresentation or deceit. Tired of watching women's rights being whittled away under the guise of others' "freedom". At what cost?

To help fund our state heroes in their time of need to help pay medical co-pays, medicine, medical bills of time missed from work after their vacation or comp time runs out.

Harry Reid needs to stop hanging out with lobbyists, and spend more time talking to the voters.

Inasmuch as all local, municipal, and county bodies are subject to the Open Meeting law in order to promote transparency in government, the state legislature should be subject to those same terms and conditions intended to promote transparency and accountability to the citizens. There is no basis for the Legislature to have the advantage of holding closed door meetings while doing the People's business.

John Boehner, John McCain and other Republicans have suggested suing President Obama for "overstepping his bounds." What about how far the Republicans have overstepped their own bounds and acted against this country: the lying, the cheating, the squandering of tax dollars, the careless loss of American lives in manufactured wars? They must be called to account. Let's sue them, not the President.

Because I am tired of reading, time and again, about these five "justices" voting in favor of corporate and religious interests over the will of the People.
