Falsified Email on BenghaziAfter months of dragging government personnel before the house select committee and implying that there has been a gross miscarriage of justice, CBS broke the story that key emails regarding Benghazi were falsified. The House, specifically Darrell Issa, has wasted millions of tax-payer dollars on this investigation. With the news from CBS it is obvious that this has been an effort to discredit, with inside help, on a monumental scale. It's time to call these politicians to accounts. Someone besides the perpetrator knew about the falsification and someone needs to be held accountable.127 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Liam Bean

Demand Direct Democracy in America! For almost two hundred years, the Swiss Confederation has operated as a direct democracy. The people have the power to put any issue up for a nationwide referendum or challenge any law passed by parliament. We believe that the American people should have this right as well. Congress is drowning in a quagmire of corruption and constantly caddying to the interests of the corporate and political elite. By giving the power of democracy directly to the people we can overcome these challenges and move America into a new prosperous age.6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Zachary Najarian-Najafi

Get back to your roots Oak Ridge, TN City CouncilIt is time to re-focus and build for a bright future in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Our new council members seem to have an agenda that splinters the available energy so that core issues have little time left for creative thought. Traditionally we have valued quality city services, education and progressive values in general.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Donald R. Miller

"Carla Butcher Act." Stop Military RapeThe Carla Butcher Act would be a careful evalution for deviant sexual patterns. These sexual assessmnet questionnaires are often used to aid in the clinical assessment of sexual history and behavioral patterns. The military, will be able to profile new candidates wanting to enter and serve in our military, and weed out the candidates who have these mental issues with sexual deviancy. These test will stop or greatly reduce rape and sex crimes in the military. Congressional Term Limits: Time for ChangeTired of obstruction and delay in Congress? Limiting Representatives and Senators to TWO TERMS motivates those in office to actually "do" something. Added bonus: eliminates the creation of political "dynasties."2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Larry Siegel

Trash Junk MailJunk mail fills my post box—about 41 pounds each year! Only 1.4% of people respond to it; 44% goes to the landfill unopened; more than 100 million trees are destroyed per year to make it; and your local taxes are spent to dispose of it. But Postmaster General Patrick R. Donahoe wants more!14 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Cate Montana

Filibuster ReformRepublicans are using the threat of filibuster to delay and prevent nominations to key posts in the Judiciary, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Labor Relations Board and more. These vacancies allow the minority party to prevent the will of the majority from being implemented.20 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Larry Wurzel

NC's new “brand” – the State of Madness?Gov. Pat McCrory says he wants to rebrand North Carolina. And he’s getting lots of help from hard-line conservatives in the NC General Assembly. We are in danger of becoming known across the nation as the “State of Madness.” There are bills to let cities declare an official religion, allow loaded guns in bars and schools, gut environmental protections, put legislators in charge of women’s health, increase UNC tuition but give vouchers for private academies. . . Already this year, we have new laws that slash unemployment benefits, deny Medicaid coverage for 500,000 poor families, and give a new tax cut for 23 super-millionaires while ending the state’s Earned Income Tax Credit for 900,000 NC families! Here’s the kicker: To make it harder for people to vote and hold officials accountable, there are also bills to cut the Early Voting period in half, ban most weekend voting, tax parents whose kids vote from their college address, require a government photo to vote, end Same-Day Registration during Early Voting, and more. This is madness! Tell Gov. McCrory you’re watching him – tell him to oppose voting restrictions and outrageous legislation.
