  • filibuster fix-improved legislation!
Citizens just shake their heads over the lack of legislative outcomes in Washington . EVERYONE wants better results. One of the major barriers is the Filiibuster rule which abandons the "majority rules" concept present in every democratic institution. This rule must be modified to once again restore citizens trust and confidence in it's government.

  • Term Limit for Congress
Inconvenienced by the cutback in air controllers Congress hastily passed a bipartisan bill so they wouldn't be affected. Meanwhile vital issues of national concern languish while our elected officials wait to hear what lobbyists have to say about each issue.

  • Constitutional Amendment to limit Congressional terms.
Congress has become unproductive because all their time is spent on re-election. Too many congressional members have become too distanced from the American people. This affects me and every American citizen.

  • Narcissism is running amok
The lawmakers in Arizona have passed a bill that makes texting while driving LEGAL in the state! This is unacceptable! It sends the message to the "texters" that they have the RIGHT to put everyone else, & their cars, at risk. Even if you do not live in AZ, please sign this petition & save us from this narcisstic behavior.

  • Uniform Application of the Law
I am outraged that members of Congress are allowed to exempt themselves and/or their staff from laws the rest of must obey. Any laws that are passed should exempt no one especially Congress less we develop into the masses and the privileged few. How dare the GOP and the Democrats collude to exempt themselves from Obama Care and "take the heat" together.

  • An elected public official, slurring a religious or ethnic group is an outrage, but when the same...
Oklahoma House of Representatives Co-Majority Leader Dennis Johnson slurred the Jewish people in his "Jew them down" remark on the floor of the House on April 17, 2013. This form of offensive rhetoric is unaccepable and must be not only stopped, but condemned. http://www.thelostogle.com/2013/04/18/state-rep-dennis-johnson-used-the-word-jew-as-a-verb-video/

  • Demand ALL Lawmakers Make Personal Tax Returns Public
We need to know in which industries/"corporate citizens" our local, state and federal lawmakers have a vested interest. A man's mind follows his financial investment(s).

  • Legalize/Decriminalize Marijuana at the Federal Level
Several states have legalized or decriminalize marijuana, but it's still considered illegal by the federal government. This means people can still be arrested or fired for possession and/or use. It's time to change this law at the federal level so more states can decide if they want to do the same and citizens can be protected by the state laws concerning it.
