• Stop attack on middle class! Say no to support of House Joint Resolution 45.
HJR 45 also stands for the proposition that the General Assembly (and by extension any legislative body ie. county board/city council) can just set a cap on pay increases effectively gutting any union's ability to NEGOTIATE over wage increases. This basically guts the collective bargaining process whereby employees have the ability to obtain fare wages and benefits based on several factors including comparability.

  • A Budget Cut that will help the Country
In today's system of politics, too much money is used in the wrong places. The top priority should be to help our Country get back on a fiscal balance. There are a number of places where cuts can be made that won't affect the People and will help to encourage politicians who are interested in the Country and not their pocketbooks or special interests.

  • The Fiscal Cliff
I feel that most Americans are tired of politicians not working together. I am particularly tired of the wealthy not having to pay their share. If there are cuts, the wealthy have to give up equally. I will be retired soon. Congress needs to worry about the people in our country and not re-election.

  • Televise Senate Dem Caucus Debate on Filibuster
The filibuster has been abused and that abuse has paralyzed our government. When the American people worked hard to overcome right-wing SuperPAC money and elected a Democratic Senate, it expected action. There can be no hiding behind closed doors. We want to see who votes to change or eliminate the filibuster and who does not.

  • Defeat Mitch McConnell in 2014
It's time to rid the Senate of someone worked the last 4 years to "make Obama a one time president." He has obviously failed. We need Senators who represent the needs of their constituents and are working for the benefit of all of us, not their own personal agendas.

  • Ashley Judd should run for Mitch McConnell's Senate seat
Very simple, Mitch McConnell is hell bent on stopping democrats from making any significant progress on any substantial issue and has brought Congressional business to a screeching holt by utilizing the dreaded filibuster. He must be challenged and Ashley Judd is democrats best shot at taking him down!

  • Impeachment proceedings for signers of the "Taxpayer Protection Pledge"
This petition is to urge Representative Lamar Smith (R-TX), outgoing Chair of the House Committee on the Judiciary, or his successor, incoming Chair Representative Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), to initiate impeachment proceedings against every member of congress who has signed the "Taxpayer Protection Pledge" sponsored by "Americans for Tax Reform". The signers of this pledge have signed a sworn oath that contradicts their oath of office. Therefore, in fact, they do have mental reservations, and they do have purpose of evasion, a High Crime and Misdemeanor (perjury of oath).

  • Senators: Change Senate Filibuster Rules Now
The Founding Fathers discussed the idea of a Super Majority to pass a law and rejected it. The filibuster was meant to give voice to the minority, not to allow tyrannical minority rule.

  • Behind door overturn of Jucicial decisions
I am a pharmacist of 36 years, never a lawsuit, nor claim of fault. I had a claim by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy. I took this claim to a review/trial at the Board against an Assistant Attorney General. I was cleared of the charge after review by a Senior Administrative Judge. The Board went behind closed doors, rewrote to decision of the judge, and revoked my license to work in Oregon,in 17 places of judgement..Oregon .
