Ever since President Reagan took office, several major legislative actions and policies have been implemented which are destroying America's middle class. These need to be reversed, in sequence, before we can make our country economically strong once again.

The intent of this petition is to send a clear signal to Sen. McConnel to stop putting up roadblocks to the policies that the American people voted for in the recent election.

For the last two years of our President has been stone walled by Congress. Corporate and big money influeced republicans have not done "The Will Of The People". We have had an election that has given our President a mandate. Start working to do what you were elected to do, "The Will Of The People".

Minority parties in the state of Pennsylvania are subject to unreasonable and unfair requirements for getting candidates on the ballot. The number of signatures required is based on an archaic rule that results in 20,000 - 60,000 signatures required to get on the ballot statewide; this compared to only 2,000 for the major parties. There is a bill (the Voter Choice Act SB 21) to correct this inequity by making signature requirements equal for all candidates.

Consistency should be an American quality in the voting process. Instead, in many states voters are disenfranchised, the voting process is confusing/vague and votes are not counted expeditiously or efficiently. Our Congress works less for the ordinary citizen, and more for what they can get. Has anyone noticed that they enter politics as average citizens and leave rich. Something is wrong with that.

I think that the Congress should start with themselves if they want the AMerican people to swallow the bitter medicine that is needed to cure the economy. The changes that are necessary to avoid falling off the fiscal cliff will be hard to accept, but if the legislators start by giving up some of their perks, the American people will fell better about accepting the necessary changes and realize that our Congress may truly interested in the good of the country, not just their own good. They need to ask"Is this for the good of the majority of the people?" And if so, vote for it. I am tired of all the game playing and self love from this body who is supposed to be governing for us.

Repealing an amendment so a President can run for a third term

Large contributions to political campaigns and candidates are essentially totally unproductive wastes of money. This could be changed if large contributions were required to be matched by equal contributions to the Federal government, specifically to reduce the national debt.

The only way that I see the people of the United States getting the Country back is to stop the Congress and Senate from being a Career.
