For the past 2 years the republicans in the house have stopped just about every bill presented....enough is enough! The Republicans in the senate used the filabuster 157 times to stop any progress and they are doing all this because they are racially motivated against President Obama. It becoming more apparent as time goes on. Tell them to stop their bias and do the work they were sent to Washington to do!!!!

Given that Senators and Representatives are acting on behalf of their state, it should be up to each state to determine the compensation of their representatives. This petition seeks an Amendment to the US Constitution to shift control of the compensation (including pensions and health care) to the States and the residents of each state.

I have to pay or be responsible for my own Retirement and Health Care and am also as a Taxpayer paying for Congress' Retirement and Health Care. I am middle class but they can very well afford to pay for their own. What they do for us does not entitle them to those "Perks" and they voted it in for themselves, we did not.

Joey prayed to be reconnected with his mom but through errors, mismanagement of power, and lack of ability to correct the errors or hold the state accountable Joey remained separated from him mom and biological family members. Joey's mom ran out of money and hope after being separated from her child for over a year. She died. Thousands of children across the country say the same prayer. Let us provide "mirrors and windows" so the Child Protective Services Child and Family Services may be held accountable for misuse of power and make changes so their behavior is visible and go back to helping children who really need it in productive ways rather than needlessly growing departments.
