FEMA has implemented a new policy change that effects Disaster Relief Inspectors working to clean up disaster from Hurricane Sandy in that hit the East Coast. The new policy denies trained inspectors a job on the basis of credit discrepancies. This policy change affects thousands.

There has been poor cooperation in the House and Senate. We want them to put aside their differences and work with the President to get things done. This is what we pay them for. The Speaker of the House suggested that Americans did not want their Representatives to work with the President. This is not true; we want to move forward. We Democrats (Young and Old) of Florida seek to remove Rick Scott the Governor of Florida from office and the Republican State Legislature as they continue to make decisions not in the best interest of Florida. The latest was to announce after the eve of the landslide win of President Obama that he and the state legislature would not support Obamacare. Prior to that the Republican gang fought to suppress early voter turnout by cutting the days for early voting, and when the chaos of long lines emerged, the Governor fought to keep the voters from voting past 7:00pm on October 27th, This non-democratic action resulted in Republicans and Democrats banding together to vote inspite of his tactics. The list goes on from Rick Scott fighting the new speed trains system..he fought the new rail systems by sending the funding back to Congress. He is a disgrace to legacy of Charlie Crist a moderate Republican turned Democract and other leaders like Buddy Dyer who has lead the development of Orlando to be the No.1 travel destination in the world..

Fracking wells are destroying our water, roads and property values. Obscene spending by Special Interest groups on campaigns and lobbying is endangering your rights. Send a message to the WV Legislature. It's time to stand up to and limit the influence of large Gas, Oil, and Coal corporations and lobbyists. Save WV for West Virginians.

Congress needs to enact legislation to empower the FEC to monitor all campaign advertising for truth & ethical standards & hand down disiplinary actions for violations. The election that just ended was completely over the top & unethical.

Ending filibuster abuse

All Senate and House of Representative Members should be subject to any and all legislation passed by the Federal Government, in the same manner as which it applies to the citizens of the United States of America, whom these elected politicians work for. It is not fair that these politicians can pass laws impacting us, yet they do not have to follow and obey themsleves.

This petition was created to bring to light the violation of the Oath of Office all obstructionists committed when they fought against all of Obama's administrations appointments and bills. The oath of office all Representatives take is as follows: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God." Any GOP member or Tea Party Republican who entered into office and publicly declared their primary mission was to stop Obama's administration is in direct violation of their oaths, as they purposefully entered into office with, "mental reservation (and/)or purpose of evasion." By violating their oaths, they have given up their rights to represent the people of their respective states and should be immediately ejected from office, without benefits or pay.

Arkansas County Judge William Adams beat his 16 year old daughter, which was taped by his daughter. He has now returned to to the bench. He did not think he did anything wrong. Help show our youth he was wrong and abuse of anyone will not be tolerated!

Senator Mitch McConnell, having failed to complete an agenda which would be considered treasonous under any other system, had dishonored his fellow party members in the Senate, having therefore lost all credibility as their leader. This petition seeks his removal as Minority Leader in that hallowed chamber.

The Senate filibuster has become a tactic of tyranny by the minority. Our system is rule by majority. The Senate rules should be changed to prevent the use of the filibuster to frustrate the will of the majority.

Marijuana is far less harmless than alcohol, which is perfectly legal and is sold in all 50 states. In fact, in NH, where I live, our state sells it to profit the government. One cannot die just from using marijuana. It is about time the government realized marijuana is not something to get in a big huff about. Some states are wising up and legalizing marijuana, and the federal government needs to respect their rights as states and let them legislate this as they please.
