Mitt, Fire John Sununu !Last week, Romney spokesman, John Sununu, called the President of the United States lazy and dumb on MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell Show. This kind of racially-charged statement has no place in a civil discourse. I call on Mitt Romney to condemn such talk and relieve John Sununu of his position in the Romney campaign.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by John Lubs

campaign fundsCampaign funds are an endless field of corruption. The group who "donates" the most gets listened to the most. If we cut off all campaign funding then everyone gets an equal say, instead of the current, " You vote the way I want, then I will donate x amount of dollars to your campaign." This is a ridiculous way of doing it, and is an easy fix. This effects everyone everyday. I am a veteran, and a bill was voted against recently, that would help veterans get jobs. What is the down side of this? How is this bad? Yet it was shot down, because of grudges and deep pockets.12 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Joshua Apple

Indiana Adult Protective Services Not workingIndiana is the only state in the union that does not comply with national standards that the states were supposed to follow when this Federal law was passed. We have documented case after case where seniors are not being protected by APS. The neglect and exploitation of seniors in Indiana has stop. One case that was investigated by our APS was a 80 year old woman who lived in a small town. The person who had Power of Attorney hired two neighbors to be her caregivers who were inexperienced. The APS Investigator said she was fine. A couple of months later she was taken to her doctor with what the caregivers described as rug burns. The doctor immediately had her transported to an Indianapolis Burn Center where she was diagnosed with severe scald burns. She died two months later in a nursing home and there was no investigation.16 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lonnie Weston

Call them on their lies. America deserves the truth.I'm tired of hearing Romney and Ryan lie. And I'm tired of hearing moderators and talking heads ignore their lies, and go on with the program as if the lies and the truth are equal. Americans are not stupid. We demand the truth. We demand that when someone lies, you call them on it--then and there. Otherwise you are contributing to the destruction of our government and our country.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Rachel Burstein

The bill content petitionI'd like to create a petition to limit bills being proposed in the House or Senate to contain only material related to the main concept of the bill so that poisonous unrelated junk can't be added before it's considered for passage. Ex: birth control coverage added to a farm bill. Each issue should be considered separately and passed or rejected on its own merits.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Helen

Unable to Govern...They should resign. How can a legislator that signs a document promoted by a lobbyist and vows to NEVER raise taxes, be fit to govern? They have compromised their ability to come to reasonable solutions for the nation's problems. They have, in effect, given up part of their ability to govern by signing an agreement sponsored by a non-elected official. The inaction by Congress has hamstrung the function of government. Signing such a document without legal review should be a crime.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dick Evans

A Constitutional Amendment to Abolish the Electoral CollegeAbolishing the Electoral College will halt in large measure the rising tide of regionalism in the U.S. and assure that the vote of every American voter matter equally, no matter in which state they reside. With this antique mechanism gone, it also likely that potential electoral misconduct would be largely eliminated with the dissolution of the concept of the "swing state."3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Richard Tanson

EXPOSE & SHUT DOWN SECRET, RNC-FUNDED, MASS ELECTION FRAUDIn 2004 and 2008, Nathan Sproul and his company were hired by the Republican National Committee. Their "job" was the elimination of many thousands of Democratic registrations via disposal, destruction, and disinformation...as well as fabricating many Republican registrations. All of this has been enough to shift state voting results. Late last year, the Romney campaign hired him to similarly poison this year’s election. Fortunately, Florida officials recently discovered and exposed his tricks, and a criminal investigation is under way in that state. THAT’S NOT ENOUGH. Since Sproul was hired to work in numerous states, that makes it a national conspiracy , and thus calls for a Federal (i.e. Dep’t. of Justice) investigation and action. The voters need to know about this scheme as soon as possible. If Attorney General Holder held a press conference to announce an investigation and explain the scheme (including the RNC’s repeated hiring of Sproul), the nation’s voters would finally know what’s been done to our elections - and is, again - and who’s behind it. WE MUST MAKE THIS HAPPEN BEFORE THIS ELECTION. So, as soon as you can, please sign this petition, spread it out, and GET IT MULTIPLIED AS MUCH AS YOU CAN.161 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Nathan Board

We expect news media to inquire into candidates' core beliefs. It is truly scary what we have recently learned about sitting US congressmen's beliefs about matters of science -- things that GOP House Science Committee congressmen Paul Broun (GA) and Todd Akin (MO) (and others) believe that are at odds with uncontroversial tenets of science, like the age of the earth (billions of years old, not 9000), or that a woman's body cannot defend itself against pregnancy caused by rape. While (as much as we might like to) we can't impose an IQ test on candidates for office, or make scientifically valid beliefs a condition of serving in Congress, we need to know about core beliefs of would-be candidates for national offices -- whether they are rational, or bordering on insane. While we cannot legislate the availability of such information, we should be able to expect that reporters and journalists will ferret out such information in their normal pursuit of profitable news and in pursuit of recognition for journalistic excellence.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Gary Gower

This is worse than ignorance!Representative Paul Broun from the House Committee of Science, Space and Technology recently gave a speech at a banquet in which he made statements that condemn scientific advances and claim them to be false and ploys of Satan! He said "All that stuff that I was taught about evolution and embryology and Big Bang Theory, all that is lies strait from the pit of hell. And it's lies to try to keep me and all the folks who are taught from understanding that they new a savior." This is not acceptable rhetoric for a member of the Congressional Science committee. His thoughts and feelings are his own and protected and he is entitled to his own beliefs, but when his beliefs begin to put at danger the rights of the American public then he should not be placed in position that would allow for such a conflict of interests.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Chris Betchie
