• Justice For Cyntonia Brown
Cyntonia Brown is a prime example of an unhealthy teen relationship. At 16 years old she ran away to live with her boyfriend, soon after he started abusing her and making her prostitute herself for money. “He would put a gun up to me and make to strip and stuff like that[…] Yeah, he had sex with me, sometimes I didn’t want to have sex with him, he’d still do it, I’d be crying and everything.” When asked why she stayed with him she said she felt no choice, that she truly thought she would kill her if she left. 16 years old and was trapped with no one to reach out to for help. In 2004 she was sold to a man by her “boyfriend” . She killed the man she was sold to in fear of her own safety “I thought he was going to murder me, or rape me or something, so I shot him.” Cyntonia Brown was convicted and tried as an adult, only eligible for parole when she is 56 years old. Have the courage to get her justice before it’s too late.

  • Have all of our men in authority gone stark mad?
The laws that allow immunity of elected government officials after they have sexually assaulted women and children needs to be changed. I travel all across America helping victims who have been sexually assaulted and in almost all of the cases, the men who committed these atrocities are prosecuted, fired from their jobs, or both. Senator Al Franken and Representative John Conyers have stepped down after pressure from their democratic constituents. Yet, Alabama Judge Roy Moore is ignoring pleas from his base to end his senatorial campaign and President Trump is vowing to campaign for him. If elected, Roy Moore will probably continue to voice his opposition to the many sexual allegations and President Trump will keep his job and will probably escape prosecution from his sexual allegations. Women and children in America should be protected from men in authority who are using their position to cover up their sexual exploitations. This needs to stop. Let's come together to remove these current and future elected officials.

  • Criminals Discovery File
I have been an activist out here for years, and people know and are scared for their families if they come forth and tell what they know. These people get killed, children hurt, and the victims of murdered people have experienced this over and over again with losing more family members due to retaliation because of discoveries. It's a mother out here now where her child was killed in a drive-by. Now the family of the one who committed the murder has retaliated and almost killed again. Please help stop all this bloodshed. Thanks

  • Justice for Ramad Chatman
I am starting this petition because his story is all over the media and no one else has tried to act on his behalf. In this day and age, we don't have to tolerate the injustices that this government tries to make us stomach.

  • Ann Arbor Demands Police Oversight & Alternatives to Policing
I'm an Ann Arbor resident and mother who is insulted that our City Council spent $230k of our tax dollars to fund a biased and unscientific study by a consulting firm of former police officers. The A2 City Council needs to stop wasting time and money and take leadership to establish a police review board that is representative, transparent, independent, empowered, grounded in restorative practices, and adequately funded, and to redirect resources to crucial alternatives to policing. Go to this link http://bit.ly/2jlJMRz to read the 11/16 statement from community members who have formed Transforming Justice Washtenaw to advocate for heart-based and restorative alternatives to policing and incarceration in Washtenaw County.

  • Second chance for Leon Johnson
My name is Leon Johnson and I'm currently an inmate at Calhoun State Prison in Morgan, GA. I've been sentenced to life plus 5 yrs imprisonment with the eligibility of parole. I was convicted of a crime I committed when I was 17 years old. I made a grave mistake for which I am deeply sorry. My actions cause pain to a lot of people and impacted those I never even met. Shaped me into the Man I am today. I have an understanding of what's really important in my life, and I know I deserve a chance to show what's within.

  • Free R2 Randy Guzman
I am starting this petition as a voice for my son. Who was wrongfully convicted. Here is the story On September 23, 2015 my son, Randy Guzman, was sentenced to 35 to life in prison , for Pre Meditated 1st degree murder and attempted murder. On April 13, 2014 Randy along with his girlfriend and two friends were at a local bar in Rancho Cucamonga As they were leaving the bar, there was a younger black homeless man he was 32 years old who approached randys friend was asking for money for a beer The altercation started with the homeless man and friend. A few words were exchanged because the friend didn’t give him no money. Then the homeless man went about his business. 500 feet away was another local pool hall where the real trouble started. The group of 15 white males seen the altercation from across the way and started approaching Randy,s friend who was having the conversation with the homeless guy. As the crowd of males from the other bar arrived to the bar parking lot the homeless man was already gone. These people were clearly looking for trouble. They approached Randy’s friend because they felt the “homeless man needed help”. At this point the homeless man had already walked away from the area. This was two parties that were intoxicated exchanging words as any “BAR RUMBLE”. There was not truth to the story of the crowd helping the homeless man which was stated from other party. It was just a one on one conversation between Randys friend an homeless guy. Stories say a “hero” was the victim, this was a BAR FIGHT, no truth to the newspaper stories. There was no right and wrong here. This was clearly wrong on both parties. As the group from pool hall started engaging with Randy’s friend. Randy, his girlfriend and 1 other friend approached. As I stated above this is 15 people against Randy and friends(3males, 1 female). Back and forth fighting. my son randy got kicked down and knocked his head on the ground. Hi girlfriend helped him up and they all left. End result to this 2 males from pool hall were stabbed. 1 died and 1 lived. The next day my son was arrested with no proof , just bar witness that they seen randy earlier at the bar and seen it was him and friends fighting. Mind you this witness did not state they seen Randy hurt anyone. With no evidence, no videos cameras, no 100% sure witness, no dna, no pre-meditation, yet Randy was convicted to this murder. The police line up was all guys with short hair and no tattoos. And randy has long hair and face tattoos. They needed to put other guys with long hair and face tats. When the police arrived to scene they stated there was around 50 people in parking lot. The man that was stabbed and lived stood on the stand and said he didn’t even know who stabbed him. Every witness who stood up there and spoke stated they weren’t sure. As one witness later on in the trial seem to be schooled by the DA but still never said he was sure Randy Guzman stabbed his friend. Both parties were intoxicated no one was sure who did it. Not once did they let my son go up there and speak on the stand and tell his story. My son wasn’t able to tell his story advised by his attorney. So, this is why Im here to speak for him. It’s never to late. They labeled my son as remorseless human, a danger to society. My son Randy was never in trouble or Violent. My son was a local artist and own a few companies. As you read this you think “yeah yeah every mother is going to say their son wasn’t trouble” but everyone who knew Randy could say the same. He was always giving and helping the community. I have pictures of him with homeless men he would give them shirts. When he was little he always wanted us to give to the homeless and was always taking in homeless dogs too. He sponsored dancing groups for children providing free shirts to the kids. I also have videos of all the kids supporting him. Randy was inspirational to many in our community. He had fans and kids who looked up to him and still do even adults. He gave people hope that they can turn their dreams into reality. My son has a talent and he doesn’t belong being locked up like an animal for something he did not do especially with no proof. This was not pre-meditated, no plots were made against the victims. I will fight and do what I can to help my son get his freedom again. Im not here to bash the other party or anyone, I just want my son home and be able to continue his journey and be home with his son.

  • Stop The Enabling Of Annihilation's of Black and Brown Communities
I need this political climber to press charges in my child's case against San Francisco police officers that executed my Mario Woods. You will see the blatant evidence on video of all the violations of my child's civil rights that were recklessy disregarded. My child was not a threat and he was one victim among many executions at the hands of the San Francisco's racist police dept. The District Attorney, Gascon, has yet to make any charges for all of the executions and annihilation's that this racist dept has committed. His record when it comes to charging officers in any format when it comes to Black and Brown communities is shameful. here is just a a small history regarding his stance on police brutality; it speaks volumes to his stance of police brutality cases: Idriss Steeley June 2001 No Charges; Kenneth Hardy July of 2011 NO Charge; Oshaine Evans Oct 2014 No Charge; Amalcar Lopez June 2015 No Charge. As of my child Mario Woods' execution date December 2, 2015, the DA is still refusing to bring charges. He also brought no charges forward in the case of Jessica Nelson whom was executed several months after my young child, Jessica was executed by SFPD May 2016 and since the SFDA states he would prioritize his cases-- this doesn't seem like a priority to me. And Louis Gongora whom was executed by SFPD in April of 2016....... These are just a few executions and annihilation's in the wake of all the racist mindsets that exist in this police dept that use shooting minorities as the new lynching. This SFDA Gascon has garnered the reputation of being a criminal and a racist and it is public record that he is a part of the good ole boy clique, who consistently puts his political agenda over his humanity. I need the DA to finally do the right and decent thing and bring charges against the police whom already had pending investigations on them of abuse and excessive force on record! This DA needs to be fired and all the cops that have emailed and texted while on the job about how much they hate black folk and our community need to go as well! I need help to make this happen.
