Vice President Vance, Defense Secretary Hegseth, and other officials used Signal – a private messaging app – to talk about top-secret war plans instead of using official government channels.  That’s right – Trump replaced the public servants who know what they’re doing with unqualified loyalists, and now they're running the show so incompetently that they managed to leak their entire unredacted conversation to a journalist! This isn’t just careless – it’s a dangerous disregard for the rules and a threat to our national security. The American people deserve to know how deep this scandal goes. We need answers NOW. House Republicans want to make voting harder for you – no matter where you live. We need your help to stop them. Here’s how their “SAVE” Act puts your vote at risk: • Prove your citizenship – again: Even if you’re a lifelong voter, if you move across town, change your last name when getting married, or switch parties, you’d have to provide your passport or birth certificate with your current legal name – in person at your local elections office – just to stay registered. • Get stuck in long lines: Election officials would face impossible workloads, causing confusion and delays. • Lose your right to vote – without warning: If outdated records can’t verify your status, you could be purged from the rolls without even knowing it. The “SAVE” Act’s barriers could strip millions of eligible Americans of our right to vote – especially the 146 million Americans without passports and the 69 million American women whose birth certificates don’t match their married names.  Add your name to urge Congress to REJECT the “SAVE” Act and protect millions of American voters.

People like RFK Jr should be educated in the subjects they speak about, not give into conspiracy theories which have no logical weight. We need a person in charge of health who is both knowledgeable and compassionate, RFK Jr with his statements has proven that he is neither of these things.

UNM is supposed to be a place of learning, leadership, and vision. But how can our university prepare students for the future while ignoring the single greatest threat to our generation? Staying on track with climate commitments will prove that the University is treating the climate crisis with the urgency it deserves while ensuring that students have a real voice in shaping a just and sustainable future. This campaign is about integrity. It’s about justice. And it’s about survival. When students, faculty, alumni, and community members come together, we can push institutions to change. We understand that your Republican predecessors in our WA CD-03 established the very poor precedent of refusing to hold Town Halls at all. The agencies, programs, and regulations Trump has eliminated are the critical organs of our government. Our individual freedoms are its spirit. When dissent is no longer tolerated, the debate that is so fundamental to our democracy is silenced. To put it simply, the United States was founded on an agreement to disagree. This is important because these immigrants who are here legally working, contribute to our society, both financially and culturally. They have done nothing wrong because they have done what the US told them to do by filing for and receiving work authorization documentation, as well as social security numbers. You are reneging on something our former government gave permission for which makes us all look very bad and we believe it is unethical and immoral. 

Because no one deserves to live in unsafe, unlivable conditions—especially when they’re paying rent. When we allow slumlords to get away with neglect and abuse, we’re not just hurting one tenant, we’re sending a message that people’s dignity and basic needs don’t matter. This campaign isn’t just about me—it’s about all of us. It’s about standing up for families, seniors, single parents, working people—anyone who has ever felt ignored, disrespected, or trapped by a landlord who refuses to do the right thing. Many eligible voters, particularly those from low-income backgrounds, seniors, people with disabilities, and individuals experiencing homelessness, struggle to afford the cost of obtaining a REAL ID or upgrading to a REAL ID Driver’s License. By upgrading their current forms of identification to REAL ID-compliant versions at no cost, this bill ensures that these groups can participate in elections without the financial burden of paying for an ID. 2. Promoting Voter Inclusivity Historically, certain populations have been marginalized in the electoral process due to lack of access to valid identification. This bill seeks to level the playing field by ensuring that individuals at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, seniors, and disabled individuals can vote without being excluded due to inability to afford the cost of updating their identification. 3. Supporting Individuals with Disabilities People with disabilities often face additional obstacles in daily life, including barriers to obtaining and updating identification. This bill prioritizes their needs by ensuring they are not burdened with the cost of upgrading to a REAL ID or REAL ID Driver’s License making it easier for them to exercise their fundamental right to vote. 4. Addressing Homelessness Homeless individuals often lack the proper documentation and identification to vote. This bill removes the financial barrier, helping to integrate homeless individuals into the voting process, and giving them a voice in elections. 5. Reducing Voter Suppression Forcing people to pay for ID upgrades creates an unnecessary financial obstacle that disproportionately affects disadvantaged groups. This bill reduces voter suppression by eliminating the cost and ensuring everyone, regardless of their financial status, has equal access to participate in the democratic process. 6. Encouraging Civic Engagement By making the process of obtaining a REAL ID or REAL ID Driver’s License more accessible, this bill fosters greater civic engagement. When citizens are able to exercise their right to vote, they feel more empowered and connected to their communities and the democratic process. 7. Strengthening Democracy A democracy is only as strong as its ability to fairly represent all citizens. By ensuring that voting is accessible to everyone, including the most vulnerable, this bill strengthens the democratic process and ensures a fuller, more inclusive representation of the nation's diverse population.
