• Costco: Discontinue all Koch Brother Products
I would promote the value of shopping at Costco even more if it did not carry Georgia-Pacific products, which is a subsidiary of Koch Industries.

  • change US to the Metric System
President Carter was about to introduce the Metric System and the country was geared up for it when the new President Reagan called it "un-American" and scuttled the change-over. It is high time our country abandons the present medieval and complicated system of measurements.

  • Send Kanye to the Penalty Box!
Professional athletes are suspended for unsportsmanlike conduct. How is it possible that Kanye has been allowed to treat other music professionals with such inconsiderate and disrespectful behaviors? Why aren't The Recording Academy Trustees suspending him from attending these prestigious award shows? If the appropriate organizations won't take action on their own, it reinforces this behavior as acceptable. It is NOT acceptable. There should be a consequence from the appropriate Grammy Organization and The Recording Academy, that this unprofessional behavior will not be tolerated! It's not a joke, it's a breakdown of social civility. This would not be tolerated in any other industry. Those making appearances on prime time television have a responsibility to the viewers supporting them, and this is our chance to say, we expect professionalism! Send " Kanye to the Penalty Box" means he ( and anyone else demonstrating unsportsmanlike behaviors ) should be suspended from these prestigious award shows until he (or others) contractually agrees to behave in a respectful and courteous manner. If such agreement is broken, they are fined a million dollars ( or other significant amount)...which, is then donated to a fund that promotes positive outcomes for our youth and society at large. In hockey, one sits in the penalty box 3 long minutes leaving their team vulnerable. The public viewers are left vulnerable to the societal impact of the inappropriate and disrespectful behaviors of those celebrities that have the freedom to behave (publicly) without adhering to an industry standard code of ethics. In other sports organizations, athletes ( and celebrity athletes) can be ejected and fined by officials. Who is protecting the public from the disrespectful and unsportsmanlike conduct aired on TV? It's time to create a code of conduct and hold musicians ( and celebrities) to a higher standard! A standard code of conduct should be signed by all with access to being aired publicly and in such contract, a Penalty Box Component, will be standard and include a significant financial penalty and suspension, whereby such proceeds will be used for the greater good. Sign if you agree Kanye ( and others) should be sent to the Penalty Box for unsportsmanlike conduct on TV!

  • UPPER LAKE BANK CUSTOMERS PROTEST CLOSURE!
The County of Lake invested mega-millions of "Redevelopment" money (our property taxes, mind you) in these struggling communities, including over $2M in Upper Lake alone, where private investment has matched and surpassed the publicly-funded investment in community thrivance. Civic pride and public service are emblematic of our town's hospitality to all Northshore businesses, residents, and visitors. > > This petition is addressed to WestAmerica's Banking Division Manager [POBox 1230, A-21A, Fairfield CA 94534], as well as to Lake County District 3 Supervisor Jim Steele ([email protected]) to support the County's equally dismayed response (Board of Supervisors, February 3, 2015) and that of the Greater Lake County Chamber of Commerce. THIS IS BAD BUSINESS FOR EVERYONE!

JRW has faced unnecessary scrutiny after winning the series through hard work and dedication. Every child, no matter their zipcode should be afforded opportunities provided by Little League and other community organizations. • Bankruptcy
Over the last almost five years I have been entangled in a very high conflict divorce. When this all began, I thought that it would be simple, I was leaving my abuser and I would walk away with what was rightfully mine. There was a judge involved, and he would have to uphold the law of the land. Little did I know that his lackadaisical decisions would lead to my ex gaining the upper hand. Now here I am. Almost two years ago when I refused to go along with what my ex wanted he threatened to file bankruptcy. He was advised by many legal professionals that this would not be a wise decision as financially there was no need. He was at risk of being in contempt and possibly going to jail. We had mediation on July 21 and court on July 22; twenty-two minutes before our hearing the judge received the notice that he had filed bankruptcy. Financially there was no need other than keeping him out of jail, as his contempt was financial, and the bankruptcy would stay the hearing. With him filing bankruptcy, which was fraudulent and is being regarded as such by the Federal Bankruptcy Trustee, I am now losing everything. I want to make sure that this is unable to happen to anyone else. We did have some tax debt that if you do some research you will find that you cannot eliminate tax debt through bankruptcy. We owned our lives outright for the most part and he filed this bankruptcy on $32,000.00 worth of debt This could have been resolved with a parcel of land or some other thing could have been sold off to relieve this debt. I am asking you today to sign my petition, so no one else has to have their family drug through this kind of ridiculousness. I would have never believed that there was the ability for someone to do this.

  • Veterans Monument Location
The board approved a site for the Veterans Monument with NO support from the surrounding neighbors. The Ranch House grounds provide a much more centralized location and will not negatively impact any Ken-Caryl residents. This monument should be located at the Ranch House, not on the corner of Sangre de Cristo and Crestone Mountain.
