• Show Your Support for Biscuits & Brews - Rooftop Doggy Beer Garden in Lincoln Park
The Denver downtown dog community has wanted a place where they can socialize with friends over a craft beer or wine and in the company of their dogs. We are petitioning the City of Denver to permit a private, off-leash dog park to serve beer and wine to their patrons at 719 W. 8th Ave., in the heart of Denver's Arts District on Santa Fe.

  • Injustice has been done to me and my daughter
My daughter has been charged with multiple charges because she defended herself from an attack from an 18 year old girl, 3 times the size of her. My daughter is in the process of getting expelled and the 18 year old girl hasn't even gotten suspended. The school and officer is favoring the other girl. My daughter since then has been emotionally and physically affected. The School SHOULD NOT favor the other girl! I want my daughter's case to be fair not biased. I believe the school and the school officer have been biased all along!

  • WiFi on SSA Vessels Needs to Be Fixed
Internet connectivity on board the Steamship Authority vessels is sub-par or non-existent. It is virtually impossible to work or communicate while on the water, and that is unacceptable, especially when "Free Wifi" signs are posted on the boats.

  • Return Donald Spies's Deer
The DNR confiscated Donny's buck, and propose to mount the deer and display it in a public place. Because of a "grey area" in the regulation book, Donny should be allowed to keep his deer, especially after paying a substantial fine.

  • Tell your Alderman to support Fair Election Illinois
Our campaign finance system is broken and does not serve the interests of the American people. The result is that, all too often, lobbyists and large special interests determine who is elected and affecting public policy decisions, over the needs of the people of Illinois. That is why Common Cause Illinois has launched a new campaign, Fair Elections Illinois, advocating for the City of Chicago to establish a small donor match campaign finance system, similar to New York City’s system. An increase in small donors in electoral campaigns decreases the reliance on large special interests, enables a diverse pool of candidates, and increases political participation and the impact of small donors - especially in low-income communities. Under New York’s system, previously disenfranchised communities achieved long-sought reforms on paid sick leave and a domestic workers' bill of rights. During this first phase of Fair Elections Illinois, we successfully placed the following advisory question on the February 24 City ballot: "Should the City of Chicago or the State of Illinois reduce the influence of big special interest money in our elections by financing campaigns using small contributions from individuals and a limited amount of public funds?"

  • Tell Wyoming Legislators NOT TO BLOCK CANNABIS!
Wyoming Legislators are attempting to keep the will of the people from becoming law by blocking the process by which Legislation is introduced and passed in the Wyoming Legislature. With the most prohibitive Citizen's Initiative requirements in the country, the people of Wyoming and their will are ignored by the sitting assembly of people who are not required by their cronyism to admit new ideas or formulate new plans. These two Representatives have set out to DELIBERATELY thwart the growing tide of voters in Wyoming that are clamoring for comprehensive Cannabis Reform. It does not serve the people of Wyoming for anyone in our Legislature to take such a stance AGAINST the people. We are sending notice with this Petition that the people of Wyoming will not tolerate the manipulation of our will or of our laws and will thwart re-election attempts by all prohibitionists until we are victorious in legalizing Cannabis in Wyoming.

  • Lorain Eviction Hearings
We the undersigned, mostly being members of the Lake Erie Landlord Association and all owning rental property in the area served by the Lorain Municipal Court Jurisdiction do respectfully request that Eviction Court be expanded to two days a week to eliminate the long period of time a Landlord must wait for a hearing. If two hearings a week are not practical perhaps two hearings every other week or even once a month would lessen the problem somewhat. Each week a Landlord must wait to regain control of his/her property costs approximately $150.00 to $200.00 plus additional damages being done to the property. Thank you for your time and consideration in the matter. (Petition participants please include your name, address, Phone Number and respectfully the # of Rentals in Lorain you have)

  • Stop prescription drug companies from running sexual related ads on TV
Drug companies are becoming more and more vulgar and offensive with the Ads they are running about their products. Most pertaining to sexually related functions or matters. These commercials are offensive and borderline pornographic. Please take these commercials of the air. This is personal information someone should be receiving from their doctor, NOT learning about while watching TV with their young childern. I find these commercials uncomfortable to watch and unnecessary. Yes watching TV with your children can be a valuable way to open up a dialogue about such topics as drug use and personal safety. Although topics such as vaginal dryness and erectile dysfunction should not be forced upon us. Please join me in signing this petition. Hopefully together we can make a real impact. I hope someday we can all feel comfortable watching TV with our families again.
