Neighbors residing in the area are highly educated and have over $2.9 billion dollars of disposable income. Additionally, several thousand neighbors commute through our area on the I24, Bell Rd, Murfreesboro Rd and Nolensville corridors daily. We are home to several large churches, community colleges, hockey rink, culinary school, midsize employers and small businesses. As a pet owner and father, I see so many articles of pets being shot in front of children for the misdemeanor of a dog off it's leash on his own family's property. This cruel and unusual punishment serves no one, instills a fear of law enforcement, creates a loss of life, and makes difficult questions for a parent to answer to a child.
