Rush Limbaugh scares me broadcasting from Florida. I know it's Halloween, but Dude, it's okay if you are clear across the country. The idea that you might be my neighbor gives me the vapors.

The re-opening goes against what the award is about, which is leadership. It's not fair to the kids who applied on time. The parents can't say they didn't know about it, because I myself talked to the kids and they said they didn't want to write the essay. Me and my sister asked to have a meeting with them to explain how we felt and we haven't gotten a response on a meeting. Help us get our message to them. (Note: This petition is written by a 12 year old but sponsored by a legal adult 18 years or older) UPDATE 10/14/13: We got a message that we could have a meeting either tonight or tomorrow (10/15/13) night with only 2 of the members of the board. We are waiting until all 3 members of the board are present like we asked. It is important that all people that made the decision to reopen the deadline are there.

Because our history can only be righted by our present actions. Native Americans are the indigenous people who truly deserve to be remembered for being the reverent gate keepers and martyrs of and for our country. We, as individual American citizens and as it's present day communal land keepers need to acknowledge and remember those ancestors that showed us how to truly honor the land and live in harmony with all life. This will send an important and necessary message to present and future generations.

This is a meaningful quality of life issue, and the restrictive nature of this new policy suggests that Township officials lack understanding of what residents need. In order to make our officials better understand our needs, this petition will inform them that many residents do not agree with the new train station permit policy and would like it to be modified.

The shooting that occurred at Lorraine’s Lounge on October 2, 2013 was just the latest in a long series of incidents of violence and disruption directly related to these bars in our residential neighborhood. The teachers and residents of the neighborhood want our corner back and demand that swift action be taken to help keep our otherwise peaceful neighborhood safe.

We, including Strat Vlachos, Diane Turner and Bonnie Brennan, are New Windsor Residents who are deeply concerned by the cancellation of the New Windsor, New York, Dial-A-Bus program. Our most vulnerable citizens, Seniors and the Disabled, lost their independence, access to social outlets and the freedom essential to human dignity. They are no longer able to attend to basic needs like bringing in groceries and visiting doctors without the intervention of neighbors, friends and family. As a result, they are made to feel as if they are burdens to their loved ones. This is demeaning to them and wrong for our Town. Please join us in our effort to bring Dial-A-Bus back by signing this Petition and sending it on to others, who, like you, care about our Town's most vulnerable residents. Thank you.

I was always a huge fan of the Sonic steak finger baskets, but it has been gone for a very long time. Dairy Queen's suffice but they are not always around. But Sonic is all around. All the time they put stuff on the menu either for the season or temporarily to test the market, I assume. So, I'm sure they could do the same with the steak finger basket. I've called the suggestion line a bunch but I guess it hasn't done the job. So help me petition Sonic to bring back the steak finger basket!

President Barack Obama: The people of Coastal Georgia call on you to join us in protecting the North American Right Whale from extinction at the hands of the U.S. Navy, currently building a submarine warfare training range in the nursery of the most critically endangered of the large whales. Sonar from surface ships and Seahawk helicopters, underwater explosives, and phosphorus canisters used in routine training exercises constitute an almost casual killing of our fellow creatures who have been here 50 million years. The massive whale and dolphin kills predicted by the Navy itself---thousands dead and five million deafened---all are as unnecessary as they are cruel. This inhumane slaughter must stop. In your own words, Mr. President, we are better than that. Besides, only by using modern satellite technology, smart buoys, underwater drones, satellites, and simulation techniques to train personnel can we can maintain our place as the best Navy in the world. Twenty-year-old sonar technology is useless against newer, smaller subs coated with sonar-repelling paint. By converting to modern technology, we can reduce the toll on marine life without compromising national security. Mr. President, we beg you to use your powers as Commander in Chief to stop the certain extinction of the North Atlantic Right Whale.

I am starting this because we can not vote these people out and we can't fire them. They are imposed on us by the State.
