• Pay social security disability when needed. Sign this petition and it will happen.
I have been disabled (unable to work) since December 18, 2012, and have received nothing from a system that I have paid into for over 45 years. I worked 30 of those years here in the state of Nevada. I like many others here in this state have no recourse. The governor's office has been of no help. I am a U.S. Army Veteran and now I need your help.

  • Stop the approval practices of New York City's Adult Family Intake Center and The Department of H...
The New York City DHS (Department of Homeless Services) and AFIC (Adult Family Intake Center) approval processes for homeless families do not provide the resources or stability that families need in order to overcome poverty. I am asking that ONCE A FAMILY IS PLACED IN TEMPORARY SHELTER THEY ARE NOT REMOVED UNTIL PERMANENT HOUSING IS AVAILABLE. THAT THE FAMILIES ARE PLACED IN ONE SHELTER AND NOT BOUNCED AROUND, AND THAT THE FUNDS (which range from $2,000-$3,800 especially if you have kids) BE UTILIZED TO PERMANENTLY HOUSE THE FAMILIES IN CO-OPS, DUPLEX HOUSING, AND PRIVATE HOUSES.

  • Alimony Reform
SUPPORT self-sufficiency for the lower-earning spouse through alimony payments during a reasonable transition period. MAINTAIN appropriate judicial discretion in order to fairly judge unique circumstances where the lower-earning spouse is physically or mentally unable to work, and thereby refer to social welfare programs after 2 or 3 years of alimony. PROTECT second spouses from current case law, which requires judges to fully investigate second-spouses’ income/assets and then force the alimony payer to pay an increased amount of alimony to a first spouse based on a new “family income” – or face jail. PROVIDE equal and consistent treatment, so that the outcome of an alimony case is not decided by the Russian Roulette selection of the family court judge. CURTAIL expensive legal battles over vague alimony laws and interpretations. END LIFELONG ALIMONY DEPENDENCY, ALLOWING BOTH PARTIES OF THE DIVORCE TO BE ABLE TO MOVE-ON AND LIVE INDEPENDENT LIVES

  • Governor Duval
In 1984 children and family workers came into my house and lied to obtain custody of my 27 day old baby even though there was nothing wrong with her. They adopted her out to a former person who use to work for Department of Youth Services because she couldn't have children and wanted my Stephanie. I was mentally abused also threatened! If camera's were in place I would have never watched her walk out the door. They lie!
