• Save the Livingston, MT HISTORIC Underground Tunnels
In their engineering studies, the city manager and city planning officers have ignored the historic underground tunnels that were vital to establishing Livingston, MT as the original gateway to the World's first national park, Yellowstone National Park, and the city's rich international culture that built the railroads. We the undersigned, petition the Livingston public officials and anyone with whom they contract, to provide, once the engineering study is complete, the funding for the saving of the vaults, sidewalk basements, tunnels, etc. discussed above— whether directly, through grants overseen and procured by the City of Livingston during the winter of 2015-2016, existing funding sources like the Urban Renewal Agency, public or private funding, or directly from the City of Livingston public funds

  • Justice for Taureen Pitts
August 3, 2014 Mr. Baker took Taurean Pitts body into his custody promising a great service. He received a thousand dollars from the family and during that time he never informed them that Taureans body was in Green Cove Springs all he said was that Taurean was prepared and waiting to be dressed. Only to find out after having Taurean moved to another funeral home that his body was badly decomposed and unviewable due to his body being placed in a none refrigerated facility from August 3rd to August 13th. Once the family found out the condition of Taureans body Mr. Baker closed down Baker And Ross Mortuary and opened another facility by the name of D. M. Baker Mortuary. And also he demanded 3,837.00 for the work he never did in the First place.... Let's make sure he's not able to do what was done to the Pitts family to an one else.

  • Make Train Tracks Safer.
My daughter was one of the people killed when she as everyone in the community was crossing the tracks to go to work. She had seen many do this, and you could still see the old road way that was never closed properly. She had been riding the train for over 5 years and knew the schedule of the trains. The train company knew that there was a problem there with people crossing, yet they did nothing to stop this. There is no permanent fence in the area, and there is even a gate leading from the platform to the tracks.

  • No Uniforms Richmond County Students
Richmond County students should have the right to wear what we desire. Wearing uniforms does not allow the students to express themselves, which is normal part of growth and development. If you agree that Richmond County students should not have to wear uniforms please sign and share. Thanks.

  • States’ Attorneys General must investigate all killings of unarmed civilians by law enforcement o...
America needs to live up to its claim of Justice for All. Currently there is no justice for people of color, who need to fear for their lives, their children and loved ones, at the hands of those who are sworn to protect them. Congress needs pass legislation to combat brutal acts of racism, discrimination, and intolerance by authorities in the United States. Unfortunately there are too many victims to list, but I'm launching this petition in memory of Sandra Bland and the Black Lives Matter movement she so boldly embodied.

  • No statute of limitation for sexual abuse & rape
I was personally sexually assaulted as a child by a cousin without any recourse. Today's headlines concerning the many accusations against Bill Cosby make one thing clear: Victims should have a voice no matter how far in the past they experienced these horrific acts. These monsters should not be allowed to be do this to anyone else and must be held accountable for their actions.

  • Boycott Violent Rap Music BLACK LIVES MATTER
Change starts from within! I see young black men and women everyday listening to sermons of death and destruction unto themselves and their own kind. This must stop. The children of these artists graduate from expensive private schools while the parents tell our children to kill each other for pennies.

  • Retire Bridgport Harbor Station power plant
Burning coal to generate electricity is a leading cause of smog, acid rain, and toxic air pollution which includes, among other things, mercury, lead, carbon dioxide and arsenic, which contribute to adverse health conditions suffered by those communities living on the fencelines of these plants. Retiring Bridgeport Harbor Station would improve public health, lower climate disrupting emissions, and provide opportunities for cleaner, more efficient energy alternatives.
