There were 73 decrees to wipe out Yezidis through murder and forced conversion over the past 700 years, which led to the loss of 22 million Yezidis. Please help us to stem the tide of this 74th attempt to wipe out the Yezidis. Yezidis International works to raise consciousness about the Yezidi crisis in Northern Iraq. By saving these few remaining groves and surrounding forests, the Redwoods will finallly be given the names and protection they deserve. Trees know no borders,and these are not just the California Redwoods,but the Redwoods of Oregon and California. This area is one of the most biologically diverse regions in North America, and will connect with a 500,000 acre wilderness, protecting these ancient groves. We are seeking protection for 150,000 acres, all currently in Federal ownership.

I am the son of a union worker, a retired teacher who has worked closely with pro-public education unionized workers, and I am a former elected local official who believes this repeal would be disastrous.

Boston's North and South Stations represent a serious gap in rail service in the northeast corridor and also do a disservice to commuters in the communities of eastern Massachusetts. Although just over one mile apart, North and South Stations are not directly connected, making commuting between communities above and below Boston extremely cumbersome. Passengers taking commuter train into either station must then use additional public transportation to move between stations. The North/South Rail Link project has been talked about for decades but remains incomplete. Undertaking this project to its completion is long overdue.

The RN's at IUH are attempting to organize a union so that they will have a voice in patient care. They would like to be able to stay home when sick, which is better for the patients. And have the supplies and supportive environment they need to provide their patients with the top-notch care they expect and deserve. IUH has launched a campaign of terror and the RN's have been harassed by management's anti union tactics which have included: 1. Management illegally asking RN's if they support a union, taking them away from providing patient care. 2. Termination of an RN for union activity which is both illegal and immoral. 3. Barring union representatives from talking to employees on hospital property, even in a public space. 4. Using taxpayer dollars to hire an outside consulting firm to "bust" the union.

Someone needs to get moving here. There are two catastrophes in the making and this project would go a long way toward solving both of them

The people of the United States cannot allow their public lands to be destroyed by private individuals or businesses in violation of the rules and policies that protect and preserve such lands for ALL of the people. Cliven Bundy's private cattle ranching operation has been trespassing on BLM managed public lands for over twenty years, causing significant damage to sensitive lands and species. If the government officials managing these lands allow Bundy to continue breaking the law and refusing to follow numerous court orders they have lost all legitimacy and need to resign. Continued destruction of public lands through the use of lawless Militias is unacceptable.

Not only is our water supply diminishing, but the higher levels of toxins in our water due to fracking is on the rise. Let's keep that water for our farmers to produce our food, out of reach from the corporate greed which is killing our land.
