The Proposed Federal Budget for the next year continues the madness of a bloated monster military taking 55% of total spending by the Federal Government and if you add on the Vet. benefits it takes 61% of all spending. Everything else takes the back of the bus to fight over the scraps remaining. It is time to change this madness and demand that the military stand down from the Federal feeding trough and change the percentage of spending to the vast needs within our nation, for our people and for our future. Limit the current bloated military spending to not more than 50% of the total budget including the vet. benefits and continue to lower the % to reasonable levels in the years to come.

Rather than perpetually being in war against an enemy that seems impossible to defeat, why isn't the US Government using its economic & diplomatic strength to cut the flow of money & arms to "Islamic terror" organizations? Almost all these organizations seem to have a history of getting support from the US Government or governments allied with the United States.

At my school, the school lunches are unhealthy and gross. It's for the whole school county, too! How they are unhealthy is that they aren't fresh. They are shipped from California to here and reheated. GROSS! Also, gross things are in it. Once, my best friend Madison found a bug in her French fry. Also, my other friend Alyssa found blonde hair in her food. And Alyssa is dark haired! That same day, Alyssa found something gross that she hasn't told me yet because then I'd get grossed out. In other words, please sign this petition. We want children to get fresh and healthy food for school lunch, not food shipped from across the country and reheated!

According to the CDC, more than 2 million Americans get sick from antibiotic-resistant infections each year, and 23,000 people die. Yet, more than 70 percent of all antibiotics sold in the United States are used in livestock and poultry operations, which routinely mix huge quantities of antibiotics into the feed for healthy animals. This practice increases the likelihood that all kinds of bacteria will develop resistance to antibiotics, meaning our life-saving medicines won't work. As one of the largest purchasers of meat in the world, McDonald’s has tremendous power to change the food market and put an end to this dangerous practice.

Chanan Aqu-Simmons #313-893 (North Central Correctional Institution PO Box 1812 Marion, Ohio 43301) was wrongfully convicted at18 yrs. old in1995 in an all circumstantial evidence trial. After the presentation of all evidence "EXCEPT ONE PIECE" THE DNA... In this case two people were fighting over the victim's gun a one was killed. There were two (2) different blood types found on the ground after the fight at the crime scene. One was the victims, “THE OTHER WAS NOT". The judge ordered Chanan Aqu-Simmons to submit to a blood test to compare his blood with the blood found at the crime scene... The blood found was" NOT" even Aqu-Simmon's blood type... THE JURY NEVER HEARD THIS EVIDENCE!!!!!! After nine days the jury returned the verdict of guilty of aggravated murder!!! Chanan Aqu-Simmons appealed to have all of the evidence heard. The Ohio innocence project requested to help fight this DNA issue to prove Chanan Aqu-Simmon's innocence by gathering the DNA (blood swabs) from POLICE that were: #1. Recovered at the crime scene #2. Compared against Chanan Aqu-Simmons This was so the DNA could be placed into the national DNA database and matched to the person it belonged to. After all the years of waiting to have his day in court to bring this evidence to the light so that he can be a free man again the unimaginable happened... THE POLICE DEPT. SAID: "THEY LOST THE DNA”!!!! In a case where there is no physical evidence or eye witness only here say. How can the only SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE that exist "mysteriously "come up missing right after the results returned that the(DNA) is not the boy's you have on trial....? SOMETHINGS FOUL HERE... The innocence project stopped fighting because they said: "they only argue the validity of DNA" in court not why have the courts lost DNA!!!!! So Chanan Aqu-Simmons has been in limbo writing attorneys for help. All the attorneys say the same thing nothings for free this is why we are coming to you for help as many signatures we get then we can show that the community, family and friends have all their support for his release on this FALSE IMPRISONMENT! My daughter Jessica was murdered by her drug dealer, he wants everyone to believe she died of an overdose, the Tyngsboro Police and Massachusettes State Troopers both believe this is the case. Jessicas' dealer had threatened to kill her in this manner on more than one occassion, he followed through with his threats on 10/5/14. Massuchusettes does not prosecute the Supplieor/Dealer I was told by the Massachusettes State Trooper and the Tyngsboro Police involed with the case. There is a nationwide epidemic of Heroin overdoses and there are many states that are prosecuting the dealer/ supplier. On 1/25/15, two women in Aurora, IN were charged with Reckless Homicide. They allegedly supplied drugs that ultimately caused the death of another person. The edition of the Chicago Tribune dated 1/29/15 stated in part, that Andrea Neilsen was found guilty by a jury on January 28, 2015 of Drug Induced Homicide in connection with the death of Abbey Nordmeyer. Also on January 29, 2015, 24 Hour News 8 from Wood, MI, reported that Kevin Obi was convicted in 2004 of supplying the drug that caused the death of a 21 year old young lady. Kevin Obi was sentenced to 25 years in prison for his crime. Please help my family get the Justice that our loved one so deserves.

Glynn County government has long denied residents adequate means of finding out about applications for development that go before the Island Planning Commission. The IPC, whose members are appointed by the Glynn County Board of Governors, routinely approves high-density development with inadequate traffic studies and ill-advised variances to established county ordinances. The welfare and privacy of residents is ignored, and their quality of life is severely impacted, as small shaded island roads are burdened with increasingly heavy traffic. We demand that Glynn County Government use the time provided by the moratorium on all pending applications for development and all future applications until such time as a Tree ordinance is created, and outdated County ordinances have been updated to serve the public interest. Moreover, we demand that the GCC and the IPC revise their means of advertising development applications and zoning changes such that the entire population of Glynn County is alerted when such applications come within their purview. We the people of Glynn County demand to be informed in advance whenever any developer or any County department proposes to clear-cut land, cut marsh buffers, or cut down any trees whether ancient Live Oaks or other hardwood species. We the people demand that the public shall be consulted and their approval secured before another roundabout is built. We demand that the Glynn County Board of Commissioners shall not pave parking lots to the detriment of our magnificent beaches and that beach parking will be forever free to the public.

I am a supporter of the Ketchum farmers’ market. The seasonal weekly market plays an important role in Ketchum’s vibrant town core and should not be prompted to relocate by the City of Ketchum, its mayor, or other departments without public input. The City block that it has occupied for the past eight years was designed and constructed with activities such as the farmers’ market in mind and is accomplishing the goal of invigorating downtown Ketchum. I would like to continue to attend the market at its current location. I appreciate the live music and festive atmosphere that this event provides on Tuesday afternoons throughout the summer. It is part of the charm and appeal of downtown Ketchum. I support my farmers’ market and so should the City of Ketchum.

Thousands of undocumented immigrant families in Wisconsin will soon have a chance to be a part of the American Dream--but Governor Scott Walker and Attorney General Brad Schimel are determined to get in the way. With Republicans in Congress failing to pass immigration reform, President Obama was forced to act on his own. Now immigrant families will soon have a chance to come forward and register, get permits to work legally and contribute to our system, and finally get a chance to live without the daily fear of deportation. But rather than embracing immigrants, Gov. Walker and AG Schimel have joined in a partisan lawsuit against the federal government over the President’s program. Most legal experts agree that this lawsuit is a political stunt and has no legal standing. It’s nothing more than a mean-spirited attack on Wisconsin immigrants and their families. Gov. Walker is often mentioned as a Republican contender for President in 2016, and the demographics show no Republican can win without the Latino vote. If he does win, he’ll be the person to decide what happens with DACA and DAPA. Gov. Walker must commit to supporting DACA and DAPA now by removing Wisconsin from this lawsuit. Immigrants are a part of the Wisconsin community and deserve a chance to work hard, contribute, and be together. Tell Gov. Walker and AG Schimel to drop their names from this partisan lawsuit, stop attacking our state’s immigrant families, and be on the right side of history.
