  • Non-carbonated Bottle Deposit
It was proven that when the "Bottle Bill" was signed into effect in the 1970's that roadside waste was reduced by nearly 80%. While that was a giant leap, we could do even more by voting into law another such required deposit on all bottles that contain liquids that are used for human consumption, ie sports drinks, water, and juices. Containers, such as oil bottles, household cleaner bottles, etc. would not be included. We, as Michiganders, have been returning our deposit bottles for nearly forty years. We already know how to do it with efficiency. Why not take the next step to help keep Michigan majestic!

  • Attorney General Kamala Harris: Reopen Case for Six-Year-Old Rape Victim
A 911 call was made to Temecula Police Department. A six year old girl reported in child's language her stepfather raped her. The child was hospitalized for sexual abuse and a sexually transmitted infection at Loma Linda University Hospital San Bernardino California. Riverside County D.A. Paul Zellerbach, filed five felony charges of lewd acts and oral copulation with a minor. Riverside County Superior Court Judge F. Paul Dickerson III, approved a court order to hold the suspect to answer and proceed to trial, immediately afterwards, Riverside D.A. closed this case, set the suspect free without jail time, without prosecution. Justice was denied this six year old rape victim in Riverside California. We need Attorney General Kamala Harris and Riverside County D.A. to reopen and refile this sexual abuse case.

  • Justice for Landlords
Things are completely out of control for landlords. There are volumes on tenant rights, free legal counsel for tenants, and nothing at all to protect the property owners. I almost lost my property, and I know others who have lost theirs, as a result of the ridiculous laws that protect , even ENCOURAGE deadbeat tenants!! The whole system needs repair, quicker evictions, and to stop making landlords responsible for all costs.

Van Cleaf, a 32 year old Great Grand Son, Grandson, Son, Father, Brother, Nephew, Cousin, Uncle and Friend who was murdered Saturday, June 21, 2014. This petition will be used to bring awareness of an Illegal After Hours Club operating in a residential area on the Near East Side of Columbus, OH. This After Hours Club, located at 1323 East Fulton Avenue, Columbus, OH 43205 is located on the Northeast corner of Kimball and Fulton and has been in existence over the past 30 years as an after-hours night club responsible for 5 murders since the late 70s, various drug activity, fights, shootings, prostitution, and illegal liquor sales. • Ask Costco to stop funding the Koch Brothers
The Koch brothers use their billions to fund radical right wing causes. The very least we can do is not support their efforts by not buying their products. If Costco and other retailers step up and stop carrying the products it will have a bigger impact. What the Koch brothers support is in opposition to many of the things Costco promotes.

  • House: Reinstate travel disclosure rule!
The whole reason this rule has existed since Watergate is that paying for ritzy vacations is the easiest way for a corporation to know someone’s vote has been bought and paid for. And if we don’t speak out while the ink is still wet, it will be open season on political corruption.
