• Save the Yezidis!
It will only take a minute for you to sign this and let your voice be heard to make a difference. ISIS terrorists need to be stopped! The media is doing no justice for what is really going on, we need our voices to be heard. We need to open the eyes of every single person in the world because ultimately, this will affect everyone. These terrorists are evil monsters that will stop for no one until we force them all to. The Yezidis in Iraq have and always will be the targeted minorities in Iraq. Help stop the killings, pain, and sufferings these innocent people are facing each and every day. ISIS has taken over our villages and will continue to take over if we can’t put a stop to this. You don’t need to be in politics, know about our religion, or even believe in it. You just need to be human. No one deserves this. These evil monsters are forcing the Yezidi minorities in Iraq out of their homes, forcing them to flee into these mountains with no food or water, children, mothers, fathers killed. They are losing their families, losing everything they have, and everything they have ever known. We need the resources to help stop the terrorists from killing these innocent lives. We need to raise our voices until we get to go in there and protect our people and provide them with peace and safety!

  • Ban Fracking in Santa Maria, CA
We don't have to guess what happens to towns that are taken over by big oil. We know. The air is contaminated, the people get sick, earthquakes increase tenfold, and those who can't afford to move find they can't give away their homes. As a home owner in Santa Maria, I don't want to see this happen in my town.

  • LAWMAKERS: CREATE THE MOTHER BEAR LAW! FREE MOMS/DADS FROM PRISON WHO ACTED TO PROTECT THEIR CHI...
It's despicable... children are harmed and/or sexually abused, and when a parent steps up to protect his/her child by ANY means necessary, like a mother bear or ANY animal would, they are charged with serious crimes. True, the perpetrators are also charged, but the parents who step up get the more serious charges. The harmed children are then left without a parent, especially in a time when they are most vulnerable and need them most. The perpetrators of those disgusting crimes against children deserve the "punishment" the protective parents dealt them, and then some. I propose we create a law that would guarantee freedom for moms/dads in prison who stepped up to protect their babies from these despicable monsters, after careful consideration of their case in a court of law, and the perpetrators of crimes harming/abusing children will be kept in prison on top of the "punishments" received by the protective parents if the abuse is discovered. Keep the REAL criminals in prison and let these parents be with their children that need them!

  • The LGBTQ Healthcare Awareness Ribbon
In the five years since AGenda Benda Justice, Inc. introduced art for this ribbon representing the urgency of healthcare awareness and access for lesbian, gay, transgender and other queer populations locally, nationally, and internationally, other LGBTQ civil rights matters have overshadowed healthcare as a priority. We ask your support for this symbol to become endorsed worldwide as one that unites us in the assertive pursuit for health care focusing on access to cancer screening, mental health care, and nutrition, and on strategies to reduce the rates and severity of addiction, STIs, homelessness, and domestic violence.

  • CHANGE THE WELL-WOMAN PROGRAMS TO ENCOMPASS ALL FEMALE CANCERS!
I have Vulvar Cancer. I was diagnosed in 2012, but did not know at the time that I still had medicaid and so declined treatment. I do not have medicaid now, and Medicare is unavailable to me until I reach 65 in January of 2015. I have found that the "Well-Woman" programs only provide financial assistance for women with breast cancer. It is my wish that ALL cancers affecting all female organs be included in the well-woman programs.

  • New Hampshire State wide ban on fireworks within a 2 mile radius of livestock.
I was nearly trampled by my horse as a series of fireworks were set off and he spooked. My 31 year old mare ran in panic to the point of dehydration and exhaustion, and for 5 days did not eat or drink and lost 90 pounds. Fireworks are out of control and there is a need for changes to be made to protect ourselves and our pets. Please join us and sign this petition.

  • Legalize medical marijuana in Iowa NOW!
My son began showing signs of bipolar disorder at the age of 4. His mania produced violent rage in him. By the time he was 12, the depression had him begging for me to let him die. My walls had holes in them, picture frames were busted, his bedroom ceiling was covered in knife holes. Not to mention the beatings his father and friends endured. When he was 15, I noticed a big change in his behavior (for the better). When I asked him why, he confessed he had been smoking pot for awhile. That was all the proof I needed. Since then we have tried many other meds for his anxiety and rage, to no avail. Marijuana was the only medicine that made it better without turning him into a Zombie.

  • Boycott Walgreens If They Move Overseas
Big business touts itself as being what America is all about, but Walgreens is planning on deserting the USA to evade paying US taxes. Walgreens will still do business in the USA and use our taxpayer-funded roads, public school educated workers, and the protection of US law and law engagement. Walgreens will become a parasite abusing America and its taxpayers. Americans should say no to such arrogance and abuse by boycotting Walgreens as soon as they move overseas to avoid paying US taxes.

  • Obtaining Pain Pill Medication in Florida is A disaster
Many in Florida are suffering from the current tight restrictions on our pharmacies to limit the amount of pain medication they are allowed to dispense. They are just following the guidelines set by our state pharmacy board. Therefore we must take it to all levels of government by signing a petition and writing either by email or regular postage mail to our legislature. HERE IS OUR PETITION LETTER TO BE SENT TO FLORIDA LEGISLATURE AND STATE PHARMACY BOARD To: Florida Pharmacy Association, National Pharmacy Association, Members of Florida legislators, Florida Board of Pharmacy, the 27 Members of Congress who represent Florida, 40 state senators, and our two senators. We combined Florida residents are pleading for consideration to Stop Florida pharmacies from denying my pain medication. We are writing to urge pharmacies in Florida to ensure that their pharmacists fill legal and legitimate prescriptions for pain medicines and keep in stock a sufficient quantity of these medications. Floridians living with pain are having an increasingly difficult time obtaining their pain medication many of which have been prescribed for years. It has been noted that the elderly who must have their medication for true ability to walk, and have quality of life are actually moving back north so they may have quality of life. We have found ourselves driving from pharmacy to pharmacy spending whole days just to have a pharmacist state "we are out at this time". The current regulations are too strict in the ability to find a pharmacy that has the medication on hand. We are not allowed to phone pharmacies, nor can the major chain pharmacies make a courtesy call for us to another location to verify they may have quantity on hand. It’s not uncommon to hear about pharmacists giving false reasons for their unwillingness to fill prescriptions, even claiming that there is a national shortage of a medication. We are aware that the pharmacist is not to blame, as the regulations placed on pharmacies in the amount they may order is strict. Florida has had an issue with prescription pain medicine abuse, however don't lose sight that Florida has a large population of the elderly meaning our state has more than our share of people with chronic pain. It is unethical for pharmacists to turn their backs on these people, instead of helping them find relief from their pain. We are simply asking for fewer restrictions on the amount of pain medications a pharmacy may keep on supply. We understand the plight of the pharmacies, as they are under extreme regulations from the state board and DEA. Is it that the true individuals who have resided in our state for years to be punished because of the states fault of allowing the problem to escalate by the uncontrolled pill mill clinics to open while ignoring the problem until too late? Now punishing our chronic pain residents. Now, after the state cleaned up the pill mill problem, We assure you it is almost impossible to obtain new prescriptions for pain medication in the state, why punish the real in need public. We ask you kindly remove the strict regulations on the pharmacies so we may live without pain and depression. Thank You
