Human Overpopulation on Planet Earth!Does a truly Intelligent species overpopulate, pollute, poison, rape and murder their own Planet, committing its own destruction as a species in the process? No, a truly intelligent species does not. Let us try not to be a footnote in Galactic History as a species stupid enough to commit both Suicide and Planetary Biocide at the same time.25 of 100 SignaturesCreated by STEPHEN J. JACOBS

STOP Sacramento Apartments from over watering this summer!I've watched enough water wasted on trying to make apartments aesthetically charming, but other ground cover that is more natural to our drought state should be used instead. There should be a limit to the amount of water used by apartment sprinkler systems - SPECIFICALLY sprinklers. They are rammed into by cars, not repaired, and not maintained well enough. Private water use is high enough. A tax incentive of a few dollars would stop this water waste easily.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Alyissa Chenoweth

Stop Bisexual Erasure at NYC LGBT PrideAs the president of BiNet USA, I work to advocate for bisexual people in America. As a friend of Larry Nelson, Brenda Howard’s surviving companion, I am deeply upset over the mistreatment of her legacy (Brenda passed from cancer in 2005). As a bi woman who has battled suicidality and survived sexual assault, I too represent the resiliency of the bisexual spirit in the face of poorer health and safety than our gay and straight counterparts.585 of 600 SignaturesCreated by Faith Cheltenham

Save the Skate Park! This petition is to save a well known and well loved skate park. The Harrison County Skate Park is in jeopardy of being shut down and turned into a film studio. The skate park is pretty much the only place kids can go to do what they love. Not only Harrison county, but people from across the South depend on the skate park being up and running. People who play Roller Derby, hockey, skate board, and BMX there. It is a place worth saving. It is a place with history. Plenty of people have been going there since they were younger and hundreds of people are wanting it to stay.472 of 500 SignaturesCreated by CG

CEMEX Park Spells Fire Danger in Santa Cruz MountainsPreventing commercial development of the CEMEX area is a commendable idea. However, opening the area to human activity such as camping, hiking, biking, picnicking, and horseback riding would negatively impact all Bonny Doon residents by greatly increasing the ever present danger of devastating forest fires.9 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Brenda

Save Water for Human UseWater is a decreasing resource in New Mexico and we should not waste water on green lawns for large-scale properties. Xeriscapes are beautiful and should be encouraged for commercial buildings. Imagine not being able to deliver water to residences; it could happen if we don't think ahead.47 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Sylvia Anderson

No fast laneI am a drugs and alcohol counselor, and we serve clients who either have no insurance, marginal insurance, or Medicaid. Our clients have few choices on where to seek treatment. We are limited in the monetary resources we have to spend to obtain treatment materials. We use the Internet to find new treatment recommendations and to advocate for our clients.236 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Paula Kassouf

Alternative Energy at HanfordNuclear facilities run by our government are dangerous and outdated. Sustainable alternative energy is safer, cleaner, and supported by many people in the state. I've written legislative representatives, several US Presidents and Governors of our state explaining Hanford's background and availability in choosing this option. Hanford is costing our state billions to monitor. It was initially built on Native American Land. Converting Hanford is the only sane option which would insure a safe and secure future.3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Patricia Herbert

TuHS Dress codeWe need signatures to be able to have our dress code changed at TuHS. Our dress code is unfair, and enforced in a sexist manner; furthermore, the way that it is enforced publicly humiliates the young women at our school.239 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Anna Wurgler

Creation of elevated maglev train system that creates a countrywide Greenbelt system around it un...We need transport that is above collision, flood, and fire lines; that is energy producing in its design such as maglev, this elevated system will network, power, gas, water, and communications both beneath the elevated railbed and in addition hidden below the surface of the ground on which the pylons stand as extra backup for vital resources in any type emergency. There are 50,000 U.S. cities that currently have less than half of their original human populations; this system needs to incorporate this fact strategically in redesigning such municipalities for the Space Age that can only benefit the entire country from such a new North American Transport System that incorporates the Greenbelt concept of terraforming to enhance nature as well as natures role in protecting our vital and strategic new infrastructure design such as this elevated electromagnetic transport system. This one foundational project will recreate a New America for the next two centuries!6 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Anton Christopher McInerney
