• Save Net Neutrality!
I use the Internet in my classroom. I teach in a poor rural district that uses free software to attract and keep student attention. The changes proposed by the FCC to create a pay-to-play fast lane of Internet service will hinder my ability to adequately teach my students who rely on the Internet for research and motivation.

  • SAVE Net Nuetality
It's as simple as this. As a curious individual, I find having a search engine at my disposal for finding a location of an address, having a question answered or even simply how to spell a word is indispensable for me. It would sorely piss me off if I had to pay for the "free" service in the future.

  • Equitable Internet access
As a small business owner, I rely on the Internet for processing our interactions with insurance companies. I also use the Internet, as do my other therapists, to research disorders and support information related to our clients. I am already taxed to death for payroll, business taxes, and in Minnesota, a 2% additional tax on healthcare providers to fund Medicaid. I already pay Comcast for internet connection. I believe having discriminatory Internet access as proposed will be another cost that may drive me out of business in an already stressed business environment.

  • The Need for Net Neutrality
I am a father of two children who works and goes to school full-time. I depend on the ability to gain access to any website available to me in my research for school as well as in my own private education of my children.

  • Net Neutrality is Good for Small Businesses
Our small business is successful. Our books have generated over $100 million in retail sales. We rely on the internet to do the extensive research necessary to succeed. We must have speedy access to every possible source of information, not just those sources that are more profitable for some big business.

  • Net Neutrality
Internet focused entrepreneurship will be stifled by a high cost barrier to entry on the internet if potential entrepreneurs must pay exorbitant costs to own capable spaces online.

  • Keep The Government From Taking Our Freedom
This is the open port of communication on a global level that anyone can take advantage of. What they propose is the same as saying you can have free speech only if you can afford it.

  • Save the internet
My ability to research and publish my work is essential. On an internet that is monopolized by giant corporations, my development as a writer would be stunted drastically.

  • Keep the Internet Free and Equal for All Users
I am retired on a SS income that places me way below the poverty line. I don't own a tv and my family is spread all over the country. I don't own a car because I can't afford one. The internet is my lifeline, my entertainment and my source for news, weather and interaction with people. If the net becomes tiered by money, I will be effectively homeless and cut off from the world. Did I mention that I live in a rural area without a car or public transportation?

  • Preserve Net Neutrality
I have been a self-employed freelance illustrator, artist, designer since 1997 using the internet to show my work and bid on new projects on a daily basis. With a little bit of work it is possible to discover new avenues, and places where your work is needed. The internet was originally designed to share knowledge, and open avenues of communication. I am against setting it up as a "pay to play" scenario where deep pockets are in control. Please do not pass this bill!

  • Save our Internet
I use the internet every day. I chat with friends and relatives in different states. I always use the internet to pay my bills. I also look up addresses, doctors, directions, locations, and always check my e-mail three or four times daily.
