Racial classifications of American Indians were reclassified as Negro and colored during colonial years, and they were denied the ability to claim their heritage by state laws that were prejudiced against Native Americans. We today, are not the descendants of Africans. We are American Indian descendants and we demand the embracement and embracing of tribal blood and heritage like every other member of federal and state recognized tribes without having to deal with prejudices and racism.

We the people have had enough corrupt politicians who listen to corporate donors rather than their own constituents. We aim to prevent corruption by amending the Constitution so money isn't considered a form of speech, but a form of bribery in the political process, and by establishing a fund to pay for election campaigns, with every candidate for each respective office getting the same amount of money for their campaigns, and only that money to pay for their election campaign, no exceptions. This fund would be paid for with taxes, which can come from 1% of our nations ridiculously high defense budget, being roughly $48 Billion or from taxes on cannabis, etc. With this fund, it ensures that everyone has a fair shot at being elected, not just the wealthy, or those with corporate backing. This is an incredibly important issue, especially when you consider the fact that during the 2012 election cycle, more money was spent on elections than ever before, and several individuals gave over $1,000,000 directly to candidates election funds. I have been in contact with a few owners of gas stations in the Baxter/Brainerd area that seem interested in bringing E85 fuel back to the area, But they need to know the demand for it. Which is a huge concern as thousands of people all around Minnesota and the neighboring states relied on getting E85 in our area for events at Brainerd International Raceway and to visit the area, also many locals are affected by this. This hurts the local economy as well. We see tons of traffic come through the area in the summer and many of those people rely on E85 for their vehicles. E85 is in huge demand in the brainerd lakes area. We need to bring it back.

The monarch butterfly is in serious trouble. The spread of GMO crops and accompanying pesticides have been wiping out the young monarch's key food source, milkweed. But you can help! Oregon is about to enact a law to recoup money stashed in offshore tax havens this year and Montana has already done so. If we enacted the same policy here in Massachusetts, it would generate $79 million dollars. They are debating revenue and the budget in the state house right now. I lost my Service Dog, Bruiser on December 6, 2013. Bruiser is one of the FDA's "statistics," or "numbers." Bruiser was diagnosed with a severely damaged liver & renal failure October 2010, after having consumed Chicken Jerky Treats. The same treats that the FDA had known about sickening & killing dogs since 2007, yet did not post warnings about these products where unsuspecting pet owners could see them. Not everyone has a computer, they had warnings on their website, but not in stores, on store shelves where the products were/are sold, or on the packages. There are warnings on everything else, BUT not on pet treats. The Petfood Corporations had also known about the illnesses and deaths, as early as 2007, yet did nothing to protect its consumers. Many still did/do not list where a product is made or sourced. Why should they, when the FDA only "encourages" companies to list it. There are no fines, or penalties, if where the product is made, or manufactured is omitted from the packaging/product. The AKC (American Kennel Club) is listed as a non-profit organization, yet they continue to "endorse" products that are made in China. They don't make them, but they do reap the rewards, from putting their stamp of approval on these same treats. Which in my eyes makes them every bit, just as guilty as the petfood corporations. Also, every one of these entities knew about these treats causing the exact same illnesses: Liver Damage (often severe) Renal Failure Fanconi Syndrome Anemia Vomiting (sometimes bloody) Diarrhea (simetimes bloody) Pancreatitis Gastrointestinal Bleeding Severe Thirst Stomach Cancer Yet they did NOTHING to warn us, or keep our dogs safe. This was not simply negligence, this was in my eyes intentional; because God forbid they lose any money. Purposely poisoning, harming, injuring or killing an animal is known as Felony Animal Abuse. These entities should be held accountable for their actions, and charged, just like any other criminal, or offender would be. Regardless of how much money, or political pull they have. There needs to be stiffer penalties for anyone, (regardless of whom they are) for harming or killing a Service Dog. Bruiser was far more than "just a dog," he was my working partner. He was on many days my life line. He kept me safe, just like a Police K9 keeps his, or her Officer safe. I know what killed, my "Bruiser" Bellehound Scrawny Tawny Lion, JC & I refuse to just stand by & do nothing! There is a special bond, between a Service Dog & their partner, it is like no other. Bruiser knew things, that I never trained him for. He could pick up on subtle cues & knew just what he needed to do to keep me safe. I owe it to Bruiser to seek the Justice that he so deserves. As well as other Service Dogs, and their handlers to keep them safe & partnered for as long as possible. Bruiser always gave me 110%, it is my turn to repay him, for his 12 1/2 years of service, because that is what partners do for each other. Please help me, to help others before their world is ripped out, from underneath them, for nothing more than greed. I want a Bill to be named in his honor. I don't want anyone else to have to go through this. These entities need to be held accountabIe for their actions. I can't do that with out you, please help me. Herman Smith's conviction must be overturned! Herman Smith, who is serving a life sentence within the Georgia's Department of Corrections, is a plaintiff in a federal lawsuit against the State of Georgia to invalidate Georgia's Stand Your Ground Law. On August 6, 2013 a jury in Carroll County wrongfully convicted him of felony murder. Despite the overwhelming evidence produced by his defense team, led by attorney Harry Daniels, he was still convicted. The evidence brought forward by his defense team is as follows: 1. Stegall threaten others that night with a loaded gun. 2. Many party goers testified that Stegall was waving a gun around. 3. No party goers testified Smith had a gun. 4. Investigator Brian Finley of the Carroll County Sheriff Department testified based on his investigation, that Mr. Stegall intened tatget Dwight Clendon Thomas Jr whom was standing right next to Herman Smith. 5. Stegall was infuriated when he saw Clendon dancing with his child's mother . Clendon and Stegall had an altercation three weeks prior at the same establishment over this woman. 6. Stegall jerked his baby mama away from Thomas and an argument peruse between the two. 7. Stegall went outside to retrieve his weapon to shoot Clendon. 8. Multiple witnesses testified that Stegall had a gun in his hand behind his back as he re-entered the party. 9. Relatives and friends of Stegall testified that they attempted to stop him from re-entering the party, but they were unsuccessful. 10. One witness in particular, Crystal Lay, of Franklin, Ga, testified that Stegall was upset with the mother of his child and she did all could to stop him from re-entering the club with the gun, but he would not listen. Crystal Lay also testified that from the time he enter the club until the time she heard gunshots less than 10 seconds had expired. 11. Defense witness and longtime friend of Stegall, Lanie Henderson, testified Stegall had a gun stting in his lap staring at the dance floor in the direction of Thomas and Smith. 12. Many witnesses testified that there was one shot followed by two more shots which was consistent with statements made by Herman Smith to law enforcement in December 2012. Herman Smith stated to law enforcement that he shot Stegall when he observed Stegall raise his weapon from his side, and he shot him two more times when Stegall raise his weapon toward him again. 13. Herman Smith perfectly described Stegall's gun to law enforcement even before his defense team is given access to the weapon, and before law enforcement displayed it to him. 14. This same weapon was laying out beside Stegall's body. The state of Georgia produced three witnesses. All three witnesses were impeach by the defense team. They were crossed examined and impeach by Harry Daniels to show their statements were inconsistent and in many cases were lies. One witness in particular was the State's star witness Chad Horton of Bowden, GA who told law enforcement that Herman Smith was walking and shooting while looking in the mirror. This testimony was inconsistent with GBI medical examiner whom testified that the shooter had to be standing still due to the locations of the gunshot wounds on Stegall body. It should also be noted that Chad Horton was charged with child molestation and also being held in Carroll County Jail on ten unrelated charges.

It's not just teenagers working part time for spending money to replace their weekly allowances. Many families in our district depend upon minimum wage earners to pay the bills. The current minimum wage leads to poverty for many households. That's why I am asking Rep. Daniel Webster to show that his interests are with working families and not big corporations by supporting an increase in the minimum wage.

What ever you care about probably will not happen as long as giant corporations and the extremely wealthy control our government through election spending. I want my $25 donation to mean something. I want elected officials to care about and listen to their constituents rather than just the big donors.
