The April 2013 ammonium nitrate explosion at the West Fertilizer Company storage facility in West, Texas, which killed 15 people and leveled dozens of homes, was a tragic reminder of the real dangers toxic chemicals pose to Texas communities.

My husband is incarcerated at a Mississippi Correctional Facility, which will lose conjugal visits after February 1, 2014. This is one of the few things couples have to look forward to while their spouse is incarcerated. This is a privilege that should not be taken away from people who are married or people who plan to get married while incarcerated. I have started this petition in order to help fight back against the gun lobby in the US. Gun sellers and manufactures are profiting from the mass slaughter of innocent US citizens on a daily basis. The state of Illinois has no business supporting this industry with taxpayer money.
