I grew up in Sandy Utah and love my home town. I love the people and the beauty here. However, I am struggling with the idea of buying a home since I have to keep my pregnant wife indoors and tell my kids it isn't safe for them to go outside. When I saw the governor planning to spend 2 million dollars on something that has already been ruled unconstitutional, it made me sick. It is time to let him know how we feel and take the advice of Pope Francis by focusing on improvement and love rather than tearing other people down. Tax dollars should not be spent trying to defend discrimination. Spending this money would be a losing battle for the state, the governor, and the people of Utah. Put this money towards air quality incentives, wood burning conversions, electric car incentives, etc.

We are sick and tired of the fragility of the Samsung Galaxy cellphones and their constant tendency regardless of model or carrier, to sustain non-user inflicted damage caused from a manufacturing issue such as the most commonly encountered problem, a random crack in the AMOLED screen. I have lived in many countries, including Iran, Egypt. In Muslim countries Sharia religious law often dictates the killing of Gays, persecution of Christians, Baha'is and Jews, subordination of women, etc. I do not want this or any other religious law to influence legal decisions in our country.

My husband and I love Utah, and we only want the same rights as everyone else in this state. We don't want to move away from our friends and family in order to be recognized on the same level as any straight couple. No gay or lesbian couple should be forced to leave or live as second-class citizens, and most importantly, the state shouldn't be spending the money taxed from everyone -- both gay and straight alike -- on hate. Tell Utah to do good with that money. Make our world a better place instead of trying to split up loving couples and creating second-class citizens.

I have animals of my own, the thought of them being abused and killed for lab purposes makes me sick. Imagine if those were humans they were testing on, using them like lab rats, letting them get sick and die off to make people "pretty". What if they were using one of your animals? How would you feel? What if it was a poor defenseless child they were testing on? That would be considered a crime so why isn't this considered one? We are supposed to take care and love one another not kill each other off to make money. There are so many ways to test these things other then animals! It is almost 2014, we have phones that we can talk to, robots to make and produce things so why not create something that can actually save lives, rather the flourish them with non-essential items?

I believe GMOs should flat out be banned or illegal let alone be labeled. They have shown in studies to elevate the chance of getting breast cancer as well as a litany of other problems. The companies that push this technology are putting profit over human safety and that is a fact!

They complain about money spent, yet they drag things out for so long and put peoples bodies through the stuff of horror stories. And in the end they have to preform more stuff then if they had done the right thing in the first place. I would have signed off a long time ago, if they had just been doing the right thing and treating me like a human being. And if you give meds that a person has a bad reaction to, get them off of it instead of adding more drugs.
