Stimulus Checks have not been received. Unemployment has not been received. When this income arrives our health insurance is late, car payments (not all able to defer), health insurance, we all need food, car insurance, phone and wifii bills, some of us have independent; rent for our studios and offices, heat, propane gas, electric, basic needs. With a rent freeze we will not have debt to our landlords.

Covid-19 can spread so easily, AND WILL, and anyone can carry it anywhere. If states reopen without adequate testing and tracing for containment, outbreaks will occur all across the country as people move around again and contact others. For those of us who have been so responsible and careful, the last thing we want is for other states and their policies, and residents and visitors, to jeopardize our own health and families AND further jeopardize health care workers. That is just WRONG! WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!

Many of us are sole proprietorship we are getting no help from state unemployment or any grant's or loans, we have been shutdown since March 16th let us get back to work.

My fiance is incarcerated at MDC BROOKLYN Where they have been neglected from soap,hand sanitizer,masks,not being tested.Housed with other inmates who have tested positive for Covid-19.There is no communication from MDC,leaving family members not knowing the status of their loved ones.They are being treated like animals.THEY KEEP PUTTING OFF THE RELEASE OF INMATES.WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE SAVING LIVES,NOT TAKING THEM.PLEASE SAVE THE INMATES

Placing the Blame on Chinese people for the coronavirus is irresponsible during a time where Asian people are at an increased risk of violence and hate crimes. Calling for a travel ban is misguided and racist as they have not been shown to prevent spread. Travel bans do not keep us safe from the virus in an already globalized world. This ad only emboldens more ant-Asian bias. After the SARS outbreak and 9/11 attacks, the CDC and DOJ created plans to stop bias and hate crimes. Since the Republican administration has not yet done so, Joe Biden should show leadership by creating and releasing his plan for ending hate crimes and bias incidents during the COVIID-19 pandemic. As part of the unfortunate COVID-19 pandemic, many organizations, companies, businesses, and even the government and IRS have worked on a plan to allow pushing or changing/delaying the due dates for everything. Why are the Olmsted county doing anything similar to assist? Why not planning on payment arrangements yet? We have been off work for a month and not able to pay that property tax amount at this point.

This is imperative at this time because the majority of small businesses and 1099 workers are not receiving ANY government assistance. We need to get our Licensed people back to work in a safe and regulated way!

Many of my clients come to me for services as a form of therapy and escape form their current situation. It is there place to seek peace and a place to feel better about themselves. If it is a set of nails with a design vision in mind, nail shape, jokes or an inspiring atmosphere with a sincere conversation, I will do whatever it takes to leave my client feeling good about themselves and also give them some heartfelt advise to over come there current situation.

There are a lot of family owned restaurants that need start getting back on their feet before they close permanently. Some of the workers need to make money to survive. That $1200 stimulus doesn’t carry a family for more than a few weeks. Some people rely on waitressing or Bartending for cash and cannot collect unemployment. At this point people will be out of business and homeless or too far on debt to ever survive.

The survival of the independent beauty professionals is at risk. We are facing a grave financial hardship. Many will not be able to reopen if they are not able to earn income soon. Many are self employed have not received unemployment or stimulus checks.
