This project will cause a nearly 2 year traffic jam on Topanga Cyn. Blvd. and harm the businesses there both financially and biologically due to the new mega cell tower to be installed at the post office. While other countries are taking steps to reduce cell tower radiation exposure to their citizens, LA County is looking to increase it for Topangans. The WHO says this radiation causes cancer in humans, Taiwan just removed 1500 cell towers due to death and illness, India lowered their radiation emissions by 90% and moved cell towers away from communities due to outbreaks of cancer near the towers and countries across Europe are taking protective action on this issue. I am starting this petition because I do not want to see America destroyed by the Racism, Hatred, Lies, Treachery and Deceit of a few that can potentially destroy the many.

Fast Track Authority has been used to pass bills like NAFTA, bills that, if openly debated on their merits would never stand the light of day, bills that have cost millions of manufacturing jobs, and have severely damaged the U S economy. TPP and TTIP would further eliminate manufacturing and service jobs, create investor-state entities that would have power over our sovereign U S and state governments, override U S food and water safety laws, allow currency manipulation, destroy labor laws, severely limit internet freedoms, and, most damaging to Florida’s seniors, do away with affordable medications by eliminating generics, through unlimited patent extension of brand-name medications. Our citizens can’t survive such a race to the bottom. Congress has a responsibility to their constituents, to openly debate any bill respecting trade, and in fact, this authority is spelled out by the United States Constitution. Article 1, Section 8 reads: "The Congress shall have power to regulate commerce with foreign nations." President Obama is asking the House to re-establish Trade Promotion Authority, or fast track, so he and the United States Trade Representative, can ram through the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TTP, and its European cousin, the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, TTIP, or TAFTA, which are referred to as NAFTA on steroids by anyone who has read the leaked texts. Fast track authority expired in 2007, but President Obama, wants to revive it to get these egregious so-called free trade agreements passed without public scrutiny. and very little debate, just like what happened with NAFTA and the WTO. If these “free trade” agreements are so great, let’s openly debate them on their merits. With so much at stake, we are asking our national representative, not to cede power to the executive branch, who is actively seeking to add another punishing round of "free trade" only made possible through the Constitutionally questionable Trade Promotion Authority or Fast Track. Voting "NO" on Fast Track will allow transparent floor debate, and save us from the TPP and TTIP, because once the people of this country see just what is in these so called free trade agreements, these deals will be dead on arrival. Fast Track is a procedure that gives more trade authority to the president, and stipulates that the bills in question will have very limited debate, only 20 hours on the House floor, and no possibility to amend, or filibuster, and can only receive an up or down vote. President Obama wants to use Fast Track to ram through the TPP and TTIP, We need our Representative in Washington to Vote "NO" on Fast Track!

We are holding a protest to: 1) End the shutdown! Congress must immediately pass a clean continuing resolution and end the shutdown. 2) Pass a budget! Congress hasn't pass a budget since 2009. Free Trade agreements have already lost jobs, shuttered plants and hollowed out Maine's communities. The last thing we need is another trade deal that limits ability to safeguard the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the food we eat. We don't need any free trade agreements; we need fair trade agreements.

The American and global economies cannot afford the continued shutdown of the federal government or for the U.S. Treasury to stop paying its bills and go into default. For too long, we have relied upon the threat of ‘fiscal cliffs’ to bring about bipartisan budget solutions. This has led to economic uncertainty, hurt families and communities that rely on government programs, and decreased America’s credit rating. Rep. Wolf (VA-10), Rep. Rigell (VA-2), Rep. Forbes (VA-4) and Rep. Wittman (VA-1) have publicly supported the Senate's clean continuing resolution, and we thank them, but statements simply aren't enough when families are going hungry. We need VA to be a leader on this issue and end this shutdown!

The 113th Congress of The United States is the most mishandled, dysfunctional Congress we have had to suffer under. Unlike previous Congresses where Party Politics have caused aggravation or mistrust, this Congress takes us past the line towards real and tangible harm towards the Credibility, and most importantly, the Credit Worthiness of the United States. We are in real danger, for the first time in History, to default on our debt which will cause economic downturns not only at home but abroad sending us back into a Great Depression.

The shutdown must be ended immediately.

I noticed a lot of students wanting to join a volleyball team. When we found out there wasn't one at our school we were shocked that our sport savvy school didn't have a team. Volleyball is a fun sport that has been growing quite popular lately. Many students, including students who usually don't join school sports, have taken an interest in trying out.

The government shutdown has been going on for a week already. Over 150,000 Texans have been put out of work. Small businesses loans are being delayed, social security checks for new seniors and veterans benefits are being delayed, and again, it's not the fault of seniors or those who have risked their lives for our country that brought us to this tragic outcome. For Texas, and for America, it's time congress votes for a clean continuing resolution and it's time we end the government shutdown.
