Currently the situation in regard to delinquent child support is lose (child / children: food, basic needs) - lose (custodial parent; not able to provide for children without assistance...) - lose (impoverished and/or irresponsible father will certainly be unable to remedy the situation from a jail /prison cell) - lose (when a non-custodial father goes to jail, the taxpayer (you, me, every taxpayer!) is apt to pay (collectively, big money...) for all of the above. Instead, why not put those delinquent in paying their child support into a structured but respectful work facility where the monies earned go into a pie consisting of self-pay (1 slice; personal needs); child support (2nd slice; taken out and mailed directly to responsible party); and (3rd slice - personal savings; so that upon program completion the individual leaving the work program has a sincere chance at becoming self-supportive and staying up to date on his / her child support). At a theoretical pay rate (less than it cost to keep a person in jail and/or prison for a year) of $9 an hour, for example: $3 per hour ($120 week) would go for personal expenses; $3 per hour ($120 a week) would go for child support; and $3 an hour ($120 a week) would go towards savings (with the goal of obtaining secure housing upon release and staying up to date on child support payments). This is not a trick theory. Rather, it is an idea that would take us, at least in this area, from lose-lose-lose-lose to win-win-win-win. How to finance it? Take the money from the prison system (busting at the seams with non-violent offenders) and redistribute it. Eliminate the Child Support Collection Unit and utilize that money to operate a more dignified program. Give everyone back their dignity. In fact, if you pay one individual - per county - to oversee such a program, with a couple of part-time or even full-time staffers - you have earned back your investment with the first person (or collectively, people) that you keep out of you keep out of jail/prison for a year. Imagine (and I can't imagine why not) the multitude of people - children and families that could be well-served in such a manner - and think of the money (taxpayer wise) that would be saved!

We have an unfortunate miscarriage of justice in Northampton County that is spreading from the Easton Police Department , to The Sherriff's Department, to the Office of the District Attorney. 2 criminals are consistently never prosecuted for their crimes.

Danielle was told this process takes approximately 6 months. But UNTIL THE PAPERWORK COMES THROUGH, Danielle Pineault-Dunkin and her toddler-son are of NO THREAT to our state or country, and wish to VISIT their new husband|father, extended family, friends + ailing biological mother. Danielle's mother is diagnosed with a serious disease and would love to spend time with Danielle and grandson sooner rather than later. Disabled I now live on $700. a month. Florida is dropping the ball on my care. I am trying to tell about myself. Hoping it will help others. I was born with a genetic disorder called Marfan Syndrome. I have intestine issues from weak connective tissue associated with Marfan Syndrome. I am in the final break down of all my connective tissue. I only have half of my bone density left. My calcium is normal. Marfan Syndrome effect all connective tissue. It even affects organs. My aorta is enlarged and I have far outlived my life expectancy with my degree of the illness, some die before adulthood. I have advanced osteoarthritis in the 4th stage. I have had intestine pain from childhood. Try not to eat unless it is good for me. Then again I am not the average person. I taught myself to slow the Marfan Syndrome . I also have Lupus, Fibro, Epstein Barr and Auto-immune neuropathy. Crazy Huh, I was sick since birth, Many times with tonsillitis, I had rheumatic fever, German Measles, and something called Erythema nodosum. My Doctor said he never uses the word normal with me, lol I had over 70 unidentified masses and cysts in my breasts 2 surgeons wanted the removed.Over 15 procedures in 5 years. Medicaid through me out of the hospital and would not cover it. A friend gave me medical cannabis for 3 years but he has been gone for over 2 years now(5 years total, but 7 years ago total). With just Cannabis, I at 7 years in & Still free of all growths! Nature rules. The man left Florida and I can no longer get Medical Cannabis, as of a year ago. I Am praying Florida will soon be medical legal. I am still alive, no thanks to Medicaid-Medi pass. Please do not let this happen to you or those you love. Every where I go, there are folks worried about the rising cost of fuel, CO2 emissions, global warming, and depleting fossil fuel. My friends from Germany commented that there are far more installations of solar panels in their countries (with less sunshine) than here in Florida (the Sunshine State). The reason is: they have FIT (Feed-In-Tariff) for renewable energy and we, the Floridians, do not.

Stopping the cruel treatment of animals in Grant County Arkansas. To have law enforcement put laws in place where individuals that cruelly treat, neglect and do not provide animals with Food, Clean water, clean living conditions and medical treatments, including vaccines and spay/neutering.
