My petition is in the favor of a common man who is going to visit or work in Dubai and gets cheated by Dubai health authority claiming that he is sick without any written certificate. When he returns to his home country and do all necessary checkups he was found perfect certified by Asia’s biggest hospital in New Delhi, India. This man was deported by Dubai because of their personal and outdated laws.

Russia's elected leaders are out of control -- and we can't stand for it any longer. First came a ban on the adoption of Russian-born children not only to gay couples but also to any couple or single parent living in any country where marriage equality exists. Then came a law allowing police officers to arrest tourists and foreign nationals they suspect of being homosexual, lesbian or “pro-gay” and detain them for up to 14 days. And then the "gay propaganda" law, making any parent who tells their child that being gay is okay, any Pride parade organizer, any health official distributing information regarding safe sex between same-sex partners, even a judge or lawyer, can be subject to arrest or fine. Already people are being arrested, beaten, intimidated and more. One lawmaker even vowed that foreign nationals attending the 2014 Sochi Olympics would be subject to this. The city of Philadelphia has a “Sister City” relationship with Nizhny Novgorod, the fifth largest city in Russia. The Nizhny Novgorod Assembly passed a "gay propaganda" law, legalizing it in 2012. Philadelphia City Council failed to take action then, and Russia took the law nationwide recently. It is time for action now. If we build enough pressure in advance of the 2014 Sochi Olympics, Russia will be forced to act. Sign with me to tell the Philadelphia City Council: sever your sister city relationship with Nizhny Novgorod.

On the Thursday, August 1, 2013, 6:00pm KOAT news broadcast, while discussing the incidence and diagnosis of ADD in minority children, Dr. Barry Ramo said that children can be "DOOMED to a life IN special ed. with a limited chance for success..." 1. Special education is a PROGRAM NOT A PLACE!!! Special education services are not a special place, box, or other location from which students cannot escape, as your words presuppose. 2. Special education services are based on individual student needs and are reviewed and revised each year based data collected by highly qualified educators and input from parents and the students themselves. The implication that students who RECEIVE and PARTICIPATE in these services are DOOMED to an UNSUCCESSFUL FUTURE based merely on the fact that they RECEIVE and PARTICIPATE in these services is absolutely ludicrous and borders on professional malpractice.

I am concerned for my safety, and the safety of others, when crossing Lake Chabot road in the crosswalk, in front of Lake Chabot Park. Cars speed when driving on Lake Chabot road, and often do not stop when someone is in the crosswalk. This has happened to me, others I know. I understand a woman was hit by a car this past June, and later died of her injuries.

I am a teacher, a home owner and a taxpayer here in the city of Chicago. I am also a product of the Chicago Public Schools. My parents were educators with this school system. My son attended and graduated with honors from the Chicago Public Schools. I am a stake holder with this school system but, I want to make sure that CPS is truly committed in enhancing the education of your young people instead of helping the rich and powerful. I believe that the citizens of Chicago want and deserve an elected school board instead of a hand pick group that are more beholding to the mayor than to the students, the parents and citizens of our city. The citizens of Chicago want a democratic process as to who will help govern our school board and school system and who will truly listen to the people of our city. Let's end patronage in our school system. Let's Elect Our School Board Members!

Everyday Americans on the "Do Not Call" list are barraged with recorded “spam” phone calls with “spoofed” caller ID's which is a violation of Federal Law. Many of these calls have been reported to the FCC, with time and date. This information should be enough for the NSA to trace the actual caller. Since they are going to collect this data anyway, we might as well require them to put it to good use!
