There is only a blinking traffic signal and a stop sign. There is no turn lane onto Slicers Mill.  The excessive truck traffic and cars traveling makes it a dangerous intersection

It is important for equality, for us to feel supported as "athletes," and because many of our families spend a large amount of money supporting us. Though we are in the public school system within Fresno Unified School District and though we are athletes, we receive no financial help. We are also searching for equality and the chance to support our school.

Because Gus & Yiayia dedicated themselves to bringing pleasure and joy to Pittsburghers for more than 50 yrs.

We have to stop the political and religious influence that has destroyed not only the United States, but threatens to undermine our democracy. Our world leaders are leading us into World War 3. The City needs to support Coach Zachery and this plight because it is the right thing to do. The positivity around the city winning it’s  first championship should be rewarded. No one deserves it more than the Athletic Director who turned down a better paying job to coach at his Alma Mater. 

In the July 1, 2024 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court in Trump v. United States, a partisan court, deciding 6-3 along political lines has given a U.S. President and any former President complete immunity from criminal acts committed in his or her official capacity.  The Court completely failed to define what it meant by official capacity.  Worse yet, the Court eliminated a prosecutor’s right to prove intent in the commission of the cirme.  As Justice Sotomayor in her dissent notes, the decision “makes a mockery of the princiiple, foundational to our Constitution, and system of Government that no man is above the law.” “…Whenever the President wields the enormous power of his office, the majority says, the criminal law (at least presumptively) cannot touch him.””  In a well written and reasoned dissent she recounts the history of how our Constitution came to contain a provision for a President and the powers of the President.  With respect to more modern times she reviewed the Nixon case and the Regan case regarding the Iran Contra debacle.  Neither President was given immunity.  And perhaps no one else has more appropriately concluded that the majority has anointed the President with the autocratic powers of a King such as King George II against whom the American people rebelled, and which resulted in the creation of the United States of America. Imagine this.  Our President now has the same powers as King Henry VIII of England.  She he or she dislike what any person is doing, well, off with her head!  No one can stop such action from the President.  Thus, passage of this Amendment is essential now to preserve our democracy. 

The board of directors for Sonora are no longer working for the community, they are working against the community. They have taken away all amenities without vote and punished everyone due to the actions of a select few. We have given alternatives to these actions and they have been ignored. The only way to remove one or both members from the board is to obtain signatures from 75% of the community. Once we have the signatures, we can call a meeting. We will also need 75% of the community to attend this meeting to meet quorum and vote. In order for the votes and signatures to count the homeowner who signs must be in good standing, not delinquent on their HOA dues. We must only have one homeowner sign per household as well.  This petition is a trial to find out who may be interested in voting for a new board of directors. Once we have obtained the signatures here, we will then ask for in person signatures for the petition to count.  Thank you for your support. 

Other people should join this campaign for change because we are for the people. Incarcerated loved ones are getting their visitation limited and or taken from them for petty infractions. Not only does this affect our loved ones but our families as well. This bill will be a great asset into supporting families in reconciliation. Our children need to see how problems get fixed not just the outcome of a bad choice. Our loved ones are facing consequences for their actions however keeping an open door for supporting families in visitation helps motivates a positive mindset for an inmate and the families who are effected by their absences. Don’t let this law go under the radar. Let’s keep the hope in supporting visitations for everyone who’s not provoking harm. Let’s help Inmates/families from getting their visitation taken for non violent infractions. Help Support Bill 2709 and sign this petition! 

These people have lost everything in life. They don't trust you or me. If you give them a little spot of there own they will flourish. I sat down with a couple dozen of them and I'd say about 20 were more worried about getting run off then finding a job. Let's give them a safe place to make a new start. 18 of them committed to working for me the next day. What could you do with 18 able bodied people?
