• Voter I.D. Laws
While I live in the safe Democratic state of California, the voter I.D. laws are designed to stop likely Democratic voters from the polls. It's downright wrong and is unconstitutional since a person born in the US is an automatic citizen.

  • Rep. Bryan King attempts voter suppression
Arkansas State Representative Bryan King is leading the charge to make an end run around the Voting Rights Act. I have never heard of a single case of voter fraud in the state of Arkansas. And I have never had to show an ID to vote. I know my poll workers—they're my neighbors and friends, and they know me. So why try to create these laws now? Rep. King wants to bring polarizing partisan politics to Arkansas. He wants to attack the Democratic base here in our state to further his party's oppressive attack on the middle class and poor. That isn't Arkansas. Let's tell Rep. King, "Not in our state!"

  • Education for a Safer Country
Every year our schools have to endure cut backs like physical education, music, art, and foreign languages. My children's schools no longer require Physical Education throughout their school years where PE was required through every year that I went to school, from kindergarten to my senior year in high school. Tell the President that our country would be far safer with educated children than with massive amounts of weapons and deploying our soldiers to kill other people.

  • Tax Relief for Retirees
People lost over 30% of their retirement savings during the economic downturn, which disproportionately affected those nearing retirement. This has caused many people in their 50's and 60's to delay retirement, thereby not freeing up jobs for younger people. We believe that a tax waiver for the first $60,000 of retirement investments (IRA'S, 401K's) per year will result in greater economic security for retirees, and open up additional jobs.

  • No Tax Return - No Vote (Chanted like "No Justice, No Peace")
We want this chanted and asked for everywhere and by everyone, most importantly at the first presidential debate. For every job we have applied for we reluctantly but proudly agree to the full disclosure of an invasive background check and drug testing, (for example, during the Olympics, screening for performance enhancement, advantage giving, cheating drugs) Our group of Republicans, Democrats and Independents find it ironic that the former head of the Olympics and a self proclaimed "Business man" doesn't get this principle of fairness and "informed" choices as it applies to him.

  • Tell U.S. Attorney General Eric J. Holder you want "Justice for America"
"Justice for America" On January 21, 2009 A group of men including Newt Gingrich, Mitch McConnell, Eric Cantor and John Boehner met for a meeting on Inauguration day inside the White House and made a plan to obstruct any bill presented by then newly elected President Obama, in an attempt to ensure he would never serve a second term. Over time they spread their network to include many Congressmen, Senators, including Paul Ryan. As a result of their efforts, on September 8, 2011, this group used their collective influence to kill the "Jobs Act", and as a result millions of America have stayed out of work, suffering needlessly during the worst recession time in 80 years, and all in the name of grabbing at Washington "power". These men must be brought to justice if we are to ensure this form obstruction is never seen as a viable option by anyone holding public office ever again. Demand Eric J. Holder investigate all concerned and the U.S. Attorney General brings charges against those who are guilty, on behalf of the American people, "Treason" and "Obstruction" and whatever else he can think of.. If we want to regain our place in the world as a nation, we must clearly make such people accountable who put their own political aspirations above the good of the country, and it's citizens.

  • Rehabilitation or Extreme Rendition?
All prisoners have been convicted of crimes, some petty and some heinous. They all have one thing in common: A serious lack of sincere rehabilitation efforts. Many are locked in their cells 24 hours/day, and the Light Deprivation alone puts them on a slippery slope towards recidivism. This excites those those that are building Privatized Prisons and can always use more customers. Let's let inmates see the light of day, get trained in a skill they can use to become taxpayers instead of deficit-stretchers, and STOP the pathetic War on Drugs. Then we will be addressing the deficit in multiple ways and minimizing the overcrowding that leads to Private Prison Profiteering. WWJD? Think it through.

  • Attack on railroad retirement
This retirement is a proven system, this retirement has been built for over 100 years over 36,000 days. The Railroad is the history of the movement of the United States, The reason why we are where we are today, and the blood, hard earned sweat and years of life it has taken from our American families. I am a Veteran, a fourth generation railroader and I know how hard the history of railroaders have worked and what they gave up for our security. It is the system that us middle class have strived for our security, it's not that we are not willing to help but we have strength as a Union and is what America needs more of. We need to make more systems like railroad retirement not get rid of it for a short fix... Its like getting rid of the VA, is that next.

  • Free all the voters In South Carolina
The South Carolina Election Commission Executive Director Marci Andino recently informed a federal court about how the new Republican voting law will intentionally disenfranchise thousands of voters. There are people in authority within state government who would like to make it more difficult for many citizens to cast their vote in the coming election. Their voter ID regulations would unfairly target older citizens, citizens of lower income, and potentially target citizens of color.
