In this dismal market economy, I feel that school loans should be forgiven, at least until the economy improves, as it will be even more difficult to get a job if the outstanding loans go on our credit reports.

Marissa Alexander fired a warning shot at her abusive husband, once of the bullets went through the childrens room. The bullet did not hit anyone. She received a 20 year sentence from an unjust judge and prosecution team. Instead of us examining other countries laws, we should be examining our own, without delay and political red tape.

The American people are tired of the bickering and name-calling by our political candidates. We are overwhelmed and disheartened by the increase of violence in our neighborhoods, aggression in the workplace, and bullying in our schools. We have lost our way when it comes to common decency, tolerance, and respect. It is said that imitation is the highest form of flattery and you can bet that our children's behaviors are modeled after what they see and hear. Those who choose to seek the highest elected office in our land must show the American people they are worthy of being a world leader. We are asking our Presidential candidates to leave the worn-out rhetoric behind. Tell us what you are going to do to help our country move forward. Respect each other as human beings, agree to disagree, disengage from those who would use words on your behalf to hurt, vilify, and distort the truth. Show our youth that having ideas and opinions that represent a different point of view from one's own is not wrong, nor is it an excuse to become mean-spirited and aggressive. Using words to be clever is not an attribute Americans seek in choosing their President.

The Gulf of Maine is one of the only "great waters" in America to be ignored by Congress. Great Lakes, Chesapeake Bay, Long Island Sound and many others have federal restoration programs and a line item in the federal budget to provide additional $100's millions every year for clean water and fish and wildlife habitat. Gulf of Maine has an established $20 billion need--and we have a Plan, but we need our Senators to take the lead in creating a Gulf of Maine Restoration Program Office and appropriating funds accordingly.

Scott Davis was convicted of a "crime" which never even happened, in a series of Constitutional violations perpetrated at the behest of, and by, Attorney General Tom Corbett. The President DOES have the power to act on behalf of Scott Davis, as requested - and time is of the essence. Scott Davis is innocent, and should be exonerated and pardoned and compensated for damages by Executive orders of President Obama. This would benefit hundreds of individuals adversely affected by Corbett's hoax, and would be good for America.

To stop student loan rates from increasing in July

It would be great to find a way to pay those high student loan's debt. although as the economy inproves very slowly, it would be a great work for the goberment to do something about it. I graduated fro a 2 year college with didnt realy explain the repayment methods of my loans and been a foreing transfer student, didnt know what i was getting in to. Please greate some regulations for private institutions where they can "trick" prospect student with degrees that bearly can get you a job, and insted consume you into debt.
