After the success of the new, improved CBGB's at Newark International Airport, MSP's second most beloved terminal is primed to expand it's appeal to a younger, punker generation with the new MSP Triple Rock Social Club.

Governor Brown's reelection website says she is "Oregon's Progressive Champion" and "She is standing up to anyone who would take our rights away, threaten our access to affordable health care, or pollute our air and water" yet she refuses to oppose the Jordan Cove Fracked Gas Pipeline. This proposed pipeline and export terminal would become one of the largest polluters in Oregon, use eminent domain to take property rights from private land owners so a Canadian company could sell cheap fracked gas to Asian markets, disturb Native American territories and burial grounds, endanger 400 waterways, estuaries, and salmon habitat. And that's the best case scenario; if there are accidents or mishaps which are the rule not the exception with pipelines, the damage could be catastrophic. The Democratic Party of Oregon's platform already says it is a legislative priority to keep this fracked gas pipeline from being built, yet our Democratic governor refuses to stand with her Party on this issue. Candidate Moore has led a life above the law. His denials of the allegations against him are not believable. He has proven that he is above the law. He should not be allowed to be elected to the US Senate without answering under oath the allegations that have been made against him.

Women must stand together with our dollar and our voice! When someone encourages,minamizes,and disreguards through their position and public forum the moral duty we as people have to our young women then all of us must say NO! We vote as women( mostly because we are the main purchasers) with every dollar we spend. Think about that for a moment.....when we say NO with our dollers then companies listen. So Procter and Gamble are continuing to support Sean Hannity and his disreguard of our young womens safety by encouraging them to consent to sexual activity with older men.....because Mary was a teenager.....Insanity Hannity!!! There are hundred of organizations and laws that protect the rights, life and welfare of animals and endangered species, but none that protect the Melenated people, men in particular. If the abuse, neglect and killing of an animal deserves IMMEDIATE legal consequences of fines and imprisonment, how much more dothe lives of the Melenated Man and woman.

My name is Alicia Said and my family and I have been a part of the Hidden Valley School community for over 10 years. I am writing today to ask the School board to please reconsider the transfer of Debbie Rogan (Roach) from our school community. For those of you who may not know Mrs. Debbie Rogan, she was the “Child Care Lead” at the Hidden Valley Satellite campus that was recently destroyed by the fires. Debbie has been working at Hidden Valley Satellite School serving our children and community for 25 years. Debbie Rogan has been given a notice of 10 days prior to her transfer. If this passes, Debbie will not be back after the 2017 “Thanksgiving Holiday” break. Our kids will be hit yet again with another tragic loss, a loss that can be avoided. It has now been 5 weeks since the tragedy of the recent fires. These fires left our community in state of disarray, loss and emotional instability, not only for our community and school but for our children. The Satellite campus kids have not only lost their homes, but their school and if this decision passes Debbie Rogan as well. Our school has been hit the hardest during these fires and losing one or any of our daycare providers is an act of cruelty and insensitivity by the district. Debbie Rogan is a familiar face, a symbol of love, safety and continuity. As a parent, Debbie has been an ally for my kids, a means of emotional support and friend. Our daycare providers are a huge part of our kid’s emotional recovery as they begin to process the gravity and magnitude of the fires. To remove Debbie Rogan or any of our daycare providers would be another tragic loss for our kids, our school and our community as a whole. A plastic bottle can take 450 years to decompose. If it is sent to a recycling plant, it can be downcycled into something new. Aluminum cans can take 200 years to break down. Glass bottles have an undetermined amount of time. Both are infinitely recyclable if sent to a recycling plant. Yet, everyday these items appear in the landfill bins outside of FSU Law! I taught 12 4-credit courses last year at Portland Community College and served on two committees. Full-time faculty teach 9 courses per year, so I worked 1.33 FTE, but because I am classified as an adjunct instructor I earned about $30,000 instead of about $60,000. Although my position would qualify towards student loan forgiveness, it does not because I am not classified as a full-time employee. Make equal pay for equal work the standard in higher eduction. I and other hard-working educators like me appreciate your support so we don't have to get our groceries at the food bank. Certain matters like this one should not be left to unions to negotiate but should be guaranteed by law, just as minimum wage is.
