• West Wing staff should resign
This petition is about ending the hate being directed at minority group members of all kinds by neo-Nazis and white supremacists. If even a few White House staffers resign in protest, it will make real news and inspire others to do the same.

  • EPA failed. Time for California to step up.
“I have always heard about how dangerous pesticides can be – but I never thought I would one day have to go to the emergency room because of them too. Friday, May 5th was one of the scariest days ever ... I think people wouldn’t buy these fruits if they knew how harmful the chemicals they use can be. I think it’s unfortunate that workers weren’t told what to do with their soiled clothes. I hope nobody brought their clothes inside or hugged their children or loved ones when they got home wearing their same work clothes.” -- Aylin On May 5th, Aylin was one of 48 cabbage workers who were exposed to chlorpyrifos. The pesticides drifted a half-mile from where they were applied -- more than twice as far as proposed buffer zones for schoolchildren and more than 26 times the limit set by current rules aimed at protecting field workers. Chlorpyrifos, a dangerous neurotoxin, was scheduled to be banned but was still in use because, in March, Trump’s EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt abruptly reversed the scheduled ban. Chlorpyrifos was banned for home use in 2001 because of its clear impact on children’s developing brains. However, it continues to be used in agriculture despite decades of science showing that this chemical can lead to lower IQ, developmental and behavioral disorders, reduced lung function and more. EPA scientists have said there is “no safe level” of this neurotoxicant on food crops. As the largest agricultural producer, what CA does will affect the nation. More than 1 million pounds of chlorpyrifos is used annually in the state. Take action and urge the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) to ban this incredibly harmful pesticide.

  • Evoke the 25th Amendment
I am potentially adversely affected as are all citizens of the United States of America if the President does have a personality disorder that may prevent him from carrying out his duties. Congress can direct a physical and mental examination to make that determination.

  • Censure Trump for refusing to hold white supremacists to account
In rhetoric and in policy, Donald Trump continues to coddle white supremacists. What's more, Trump continues to surround himself with white nationalists, appointing Steve Bannon, Sebastian Gorka, and Stephen Miller to serve alongside him in the White House. It’s just not enough for our Republican colleagues to issue statements against violence in Charlottesville. They must act against the rise of domestic terrorism and white nationalism -- especially when the man in the White House refuses to do so. Sign on to the petition urging Congress to censure Trump for refusing to denounce domestic terrorism and surrounding himself with white supremacists in the White House.

  • Prosecute Nazis
A militia of Nazis armed with automatic weapons and shields marched through the street of Charlottesville chanting hate and threats. A woman was murdered, many wounded intentionally, and two police died as a result of the Nazi march. As senator McCain said, the USA fought a war against Nazis. Nazis marching armed in American streets are traitors and enemies of the USA. The Nazis who marched, their allies who marched with them, and other self identified Nazis who did not march should be identified and prosecuted for all crimes against the USA, including if applicable, treason, and any complicity in the deaths and injuries which arose out of the March.

  • Greenville, SC: Rename Wade Hampton Blvd. and Wade Hampton HS
Wade Hampton III was one of South Carolina's largest slaveholders of his time, a traitor to the USA who served as a lieutenant general for the confederacy, and a staunch supporter of the Red Shirts (a 19th Century paramilitary group that used violence and terrorism as a part of the South Carolina Jim Crow culture of the day). Continuing to honor this post-Civil War white supremacist is racist and cannot be tolerated. Some suggestions for action might be to change the name of Wade Hampton High School to Reverend Joseph Armstrong DeLaine High School and to change the name of Wade Hampton Boulevard to Robert Smalls Boulevard.

  • Congress: Press @Netanyahu to Condemn Trump's Equivocation on White Supremacist Violence
As President Trump was being criticized in the United States for blaming violence in Charlottesville on "both sides," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu drew flak for giving no response at all, the Washington Post reports. Even when Trump finally criticized white supremacists for inciting violence, it still took Netanyahu another day to speak up. [1] Jonathan Greenblatt, the head of the Anti Defamation League, was "astonished" when Trump said there were "fine people" among the far-right demonstrators and criticized the "alt-left" for inciting violence. But Netanyahu’s son Yair echoed similar concerns Wednesday to Trump about the left-wing demonstrators, the Post notes: "The thugs of Antifa and BLM who hate my country (and America too in my view) just as much are getting stronger and stronger and becoming super dominant in American universities and public life." Oren Hazan, a Knesset member from Netanyahu's Likud party, also said Trump was right to criticize both sides. [2] Urge Members of Congress to press Netanyahu to condemn Trump's equivocation on white supremacist violence by signing our petition. • Enough! California Republicans must end their silence on Trump
I'm an American citizen with liberal values who has had enough of Trump. His response to Charlottesville crosses every line of human decency. Republican leaders need to step up, speak up, and stop the insanity.

  • It's time to get hate out of the White House
Donald Trump has surrounded himself with advisers who have deep ties to racist and ultra-nationalist groups. We cannot let their vision be the beating heart of our nation’s decision making and continue promoting hateful and dangerous policies that run counter to our values, weaken our security, and risk fueling extremism and conflict both at home and abroad. It is time to get hate out of the White House. Congress must demand the White House immediately fire all members of the President's top circle who are closely tied to the white nationalist neo-Nazi movement responsible for the terror in Charlottesville -- including Stephen Bannon, Sebastian Gorka, and Stephen Miller.
