Reject HB757 and the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA)This harmful legislation would set our state back years. And it doesn't just impact LGBT Georgians. By allowing tax-payer funded organizations to discriminate and refuse services, while still receiving federal and state grants, Georgia lawmakers risk putting unmarried couples, women, racial minorities, religious minorities, people living with disabilities, and more in the line of fire.244 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Zack Schnyder

Put a Stop to the Privatization of Prisons in ColoradoRacism is a business and like any other business when faced with opposition, the business adapts and changes with the times. There is a plethora of businesses that flourish off of racial related issues and the privatization of prisons is no exception. Colorado spends over $2 million of our taxpayer money on private prisons. Let's put a stop to this corrupt business and make a dent in the racial issues our country faces on a daily basis.104 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Alex Warzel

Let "The Connecticut Voters" Decide! It's what Democracy is all about. When "The Voters" vote, their decision should drive the results - not that of a super delegate.54 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Marilyn Mackay

Vote "No" on HB4013 Voter ID BillThis BARRIER to REPRESENTATION, HB4013, will now be voted on by the Senate Judiciary. West Virginia’s Republican-controlled House passed a bill which would require voters to show one of several types of ID cards before voting. Some West Virginia lawmakers claim the bill is little more than an effort to suppress participation from elderly and minority voters, that this bill will only lead to further disenfranchisement of voters. Voter ID laws only prevent “voter impersonation” — someone pretending to be someone else — and that there have been NO reported cases of voter impersonation in West Virginia! Let your voice be heard and say "NO" to Voter ID Laws in West Virginia!91 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Natalie Thompson

Extend Michigan Civil Rights Protection to the LGBT communityMichigan business leaders know that equal protection for all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, is good for business. It's also the right thing to do. Michigan is behind the times on this issue. You can still be fired or denied housing for being gay or transgender, and it's perfectly legal here in the mitten! It's long past time to amend Michigan's civil rights laws to protect every Michigander equally.36 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Naomi Zikmund-Fisher

Defend Erek Slater! Reinstate him!Union member fired for defending his co-workers and their contract. This is an attack on public employees and union members everywhere. It is an example of Mayor Rahm Emanuel's anti-worker policies that hurt teachers, public workers, CTA workers, and working families throughout Chicago.325 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Debby Pope

Bring Automatic Voter Registration to Illinois! In the wake of the Supreme Court's decision to gut the Voting Rights Act, and anti-voter restrictions on the state level, we need reforms like automatic voter registration to engage every eligible American in our democracy. This bill, SB 2134, would automatically register eligible citizens to vote when they interact with the DMV, and opens the door to expanding the system to other state agencies in the future. Oregon and California have already taken steps towards that, and they’re leading the country in helping to ensure that voting is free, fair, and accessible. Oregon started rolling out its new system in early January. Last week, state officials reported 4,300 new eligible voters had signed up in the first six days, more than double the previous average number of registered voters per month. Combined, the two states’ laws could add up to 7 million new citizens to the rolls. Tell your lawmakers to support these bills to bring automatic voter registration to Illinois.49 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Common Cause

Democratic Superdelegates, let the voters decide!Senator Bernie Sanders beat Hillary Clinton by a staggering 22 points in New Hampshire, tied in the Iowa caucus, and nearly tied in Nevada. Sanders and Clinton are now tied for delegates elected by voters, 51 to 51. Yet astonishingly, as a result of the large number of votes held by superdelegates, Sanders has only 70 total delegates to Clinton's 502. DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz has openly admitted that superdelegates exist "to make sure that party leaders and elected officials don’t have to be in a position where they are running against grassroots activists." The so-called "Democratic" party is threatening to obliterate any remaining shred of our democracy. Senator Alan Grayson has offered up his superdelegate vote to us, the voters. Join me in calling on all 44 Senate Democrats and 207 Democratic members of the House of Representatives to do the same, or risk losing our support for reelection in November.27 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Lindsey Harms

Relocate production of AMC's "The Walking Dead" outside of Georgia following passage of legal dis...#HB757 is a shameful piece of legislation that distorts the First Amendment of the United States Constitution to protect and cultivate organized hatred and private bigotry, creating an economic safe space for those wishing to promote hatred and intolerance. As it stands, the State of Georgia should not be rewarded by the residency of AMC's "The Walking Dead" nor should those connected with the show be associated with this kind of backwards ideology.5,532 of 6,000 SignaturesCreated by Michael Pisano
