Revoke D.O.Energy contractors Legal feesMy peteition is about The fact that D.O.E. hires contractors to manage their D.O.E. National Labs. Those private Corporation are supported and totally funded by the Government, which is collected as a tax from the American people. For their legal fees ,expenses and settlements when they commit a criminal violation, or civil rights violation against their employees and private contracters.any employee who files a E.E.O.C. vilolation complaint is subjected to the response of a fully funded and the power of the best legal law firm, paid for by the American people and the very employees that are the complaintant or whistleblower. This special fully funded Legal fee reimbursement, not only costs the American people over 30 million dollars a year(estimated costs),it encourages and promotes the contracters ability to violate the civil rights of its employee regarding sexual harrassment, racial bias, discrimination for race and age related offenses. Without the expense of financial expense (which is an deterrant) of all violation and many more, they find it a situation that it pays for them to committ these crimes as a business blueprint. I ask that any Contractor that manages any D.O.Energy be 100% responsible for their own civil rights vilolations crimes, expenses and its legal fees and settlement. The employee must pay their houseold money, that they cannot afford , to fight for their civil rights. Againt a company the work for and pay for in taxes. 30 million dollars of our taxes. This is abusive and a violation of te Federal laws.1 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Malry LTardd Jr

National Indian DayNative Americans are the foundation to the existing ground we walk upon today; we are the people from many generations of strong people. This day of recognition will bring awareness and educate citizens throughout the world in a positive manner and influence people to express their support and respect to our Native American people. There are several great Native American leaders. The date of April 22 which is also Earth Day seems to be an appropriate time, since Native Americans protect our Mother Earth. This will permit so many people to contribute observation by 'closing' which would conserve in so much positive mannerism. I think everyone should sign this petition, since there is not a specific date for ALL to observe on the same date together. Why you should sign my petition? It is the tribal people who will contribute a helping hand and peaceful traits to all people for generations to come. That is a proven fact.288 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Ms. PJ Moore (Red Dirt Girl)

Amend the Air Carrier Access Act of 1986 to Allow for a Private Cause of ActionIn 1986, Congress enacted the Air Carrier Access Act of 1986 to prohibit discrimination against passengers with disabilities by commercial airliners. However, recent federal court decisions have narrowly interpreted the statute to deny a private cause of action in federal district court. Congress clearly needs to include an EXPRESS private action in the ACAA to prohibit unjust, discriminatory treatment by air carriers.17 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Thomas Seymour

Voters Rights is today's Civil RightsWe should be making laws especially Voters Laws easier for the American People not harder. I think that everyone should show proof that they are of age & should be able to vote. The voting stations should take photos of everyone that votes and if there are any fraud, those folks should be severely punished with a huge fine and possibly jail time. I think there should be a law to keep lawmakers from making it harder for voters to vote, but instead make ways to broaden voters. Any lawmakers that changing Voters Laws should be responsible for providing ALL accommodations to ALL effected voters, IT SHOULDN'T BE THE PUBLIC RESPONSIBILITY TO BE ABLE TO VOTE , IT'S OUR RIGHT AND THE LAWMAKERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING IT WORK for ALL.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Pamela Mitchell

Ban TasersTasers are used by police. Tasers kill (or immobilize) people by delivering a 50,000 volt shock. This shock can and has killed people , including healthy people. When police officers use this device on unarmed people, the young the elderly; they are executing innocent people. Without charge and without trial. Until TASERS are 100% safe and the company TASER International, are willing to pay for the deaths they cause (and will cause) then TASERs should be banned.4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by john

Neurotypical people, school personnel, businesses and private individuals should be accountable b...Dear Sir or Madame, My name is Aida crosby, and I am a member if the Santa Clara County Mental Health Board. I have a child, 12, with autism. For the past 8 years, Our child and our family have been subject to severe discrimination at the hands of public schools, church members, and private individuals. We have been trying very hard for the last five years to bring awareness to our church, county, city, neighborhood, and street of the need for individuals and institutions to meet the needs of families and individuals with autism. To our surprise, we find both lethargy and uncaring behavior from neurotypicals, and understanding and support by many, but they still have no clue or understanding with autism behaviors, social inadequacy, and mental disability when it is their turn to understand, help and accept. As a results I became a member of the Santa Clara County Mental Health Board, only to discover that autism is not even considered a mental disability. My family and I have been receiving anonymous hurtful, slandered letters, and attacked publicly in you tube, from our in inmidiate neighbors just because I have stand up to them asking to help me make the neighborhood safe from anything that can cause injuries to our autistic child. My oldest,15, is now suffering severe health problems as a result of their bulling, and verbal Abuse. Please help me, I feel this is an important stepping stone to bring up changes to benefit autistic individuals and their families. The bulling from adults, and private individuals must stop. The lack of legal help must stop...the only way we can get services for our kids is thru lawyers...and many children and individuals are being left behind, ignored, abused, uneducated, and families are in the brink of suicide, or destruction of the family. Most sincerely, and awaiting your response, Aida t. Crosby Protecting my adorable son Adrián Crosby27 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Aida t. Crosby
