It seems that with as many people know that Sally Ride was the first woman in space, few people realized that she was also the first LGBT woman in space. She and her partner were together for 27 years. Since she is a national hero and a personal hero to soo many, I'm petitioning that her partner be given full rights.

If our government refuses to accept our American birth certificates at the borders, and are now demanding we all get passports, it needs to implement a program for everyone on limited income so that we can get passports at reduced fees!! In border towns, we have duty free shops on US sides and only need STEP ON MEXICAN BORDER, not enter country.

African Americans must have a photo ID to vote. When I was living in Florida in 2000 and 2004 African Americans were told their poling place was closed, and they were turned away. So much for photo ID! iD

Ms. Bachmann's slanderous allegations against Huma Abedin, an assistant to Secretary Clinton - an American citizen and civil servant - are totally unfounded and despicably egregious. This is just the latest in her long history of crackpot conspiracy theories and McCarthian witch hunts. Even members of her own party, including Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham, have called her out on this.

Fluoride only exists as toxic waste from the manufacture of aluminium and nuclear plants. It is a known carcinogenic and numerous studies have proved it is more harmful than good. It causes more tooth damage than it saves cavities. It attacks the nervous system and is known to affect all the organs of the body, especially the brain. It has been withdrawn from water supplies in many European countries for this reason. It is tantamount to medicating people against their will and therefore there is no free choice in this matter.

We seek the option of a fee-free OPT-OUT of OG&E's Smart Meter program in Arkansas. Our government did not mandate the installation of Smart Meters on every home in this country. Our homes are supposed to be our sanctuaries. Under the Fourth Amendment of the United States Constitution, “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated…” The Fifth Amendment of the United States Constitution states “…nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.” Finally, under the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution, our right to safe, reasonable, adequate, and non-discriminatory right to receive electricity has been violated. The implementation and forced installation of the Smart Meters without proper notice and full disclosure, has threatened our health, safety, privacy, and security, violating our right to due process.

The Michigan State Legislature has made all fireworks legal. But even when they were illegal, there was no recourse for those affected by them. Citizens complain of being "blown out of bed" at all hours of the night, having to sedate their pets with drugs due to the anxiety created by loud fireworks displays, veterans with PTSD are terrorized once again and all wildlife is stressed from the blasts. Fireworks emit toxic heavy metals in the smoke which goes onto our gardens, on our lawns where our children play, in the lake water and into our lungs. These metals can cause cancer, lung distress and digestive disorders. One must ask, is this really fun? And, what rights do we have to a quiet, peaceful home environment?

Homeowner's with less than 1oo% approval can force neighbor's to do virtualy whatever a small group of bullies decide they want to do!! This needs to stop! Their power should be limited to collecting reasonable fees for maintenance of safety and upkeep of common areas!!!
