I have a dream that we can one day end racial profiling.Racial profiling have infect on us as citizens and we need to come together against it.We need to reach out to society about this issue,and create a change.Accidents like the situation with the college student in New York,that was shot down when he was trying to lieve running in to two police cars.Trayvon who was a innocent kid coming from the store with a bag of skittles and ice tee.Or the incident where the judge wanted to execute Troy Davis with out any evidence he commited the crime. I was watching tv one day and if the animal cops in certain states founght out that your dog lefted the backyard,then they would write you a ticken.My point is if we can come together to get judice about some bodies dog then we should have that same concern about the way that the police are treating our kids or citizens.I was with my little cousin at the boardwalk and a officer confronted him about his pants,and told me to get him off the campus.I was walking off the campus and next to the exit was a store that my friend worked at so i decided to step in out quickly to speck.On my way out of the store,the same officer confronted me rudly,when i was trying to make it out of the exit,another officer attacked me by running me in to his go cart. They sat me down in there office to book me and take me to jail because they said that my little cousin was too young.They charged me with bad influence of a miner,but how is that bad influence when i was getting him off the campus.my pants were up; If we can have a situation where they could do their job with out taking advantage,abusing,and taking a way the freedom and money of innocent citizen,then we will have some thing to work with.

In the past three years our city has gone through alot of physical and boundary changes. Students were counted as residents without proper representation, land was annexed into the corporation despite overwhelming resident opposition, zoning applications seemed unevenly granted, blasting ordinances seeemed weak, public meetings were not timely or properly posted, and federal grants( RCTA) were mishandled.

Make voting easier for all. I have missed voting because of work.

We need a real leader in PA, not a party puppet.

Mainers Ask to Improve the Quality of the Law(s) / Policies Which Will Require the Maine Human Rights Commission (MHRC) Employees to Make the Fair Decisions. There are Not Enough Funds in the MHRC to Make Copies of Submitted Documents, Mail Letters Informing Complainants and Respondents about Changing Due Dates..., to Hire Very Good Professionals in order to Allow Mainers to be Protected under the MHRA, ADA, FHA and other laws.

My friends and neighbors, my constituents are slowly being poisoned to death by the toxic industrial waste they call "fluoride." My husband started having unexplained seizures in 2008 after moving to our small seaside city in northern CA. The only thing different about our life is we found out fluoride was added to our tap water. It's taken us years to figure this out. We befriended a gal that suffered with seizures until she moved out of town for nearly 6 months and only had well water and bottled water for her drinking and bathing. Her seizures all but stopped. Her meds were reduced. But she had to move back to take care of her 80 yrs old mother who had knee surgery. Once back on city tap water, she landed in ER after a 10 minute shower following a seizure. I've been a councilwoman in this town for nearly 4 years. In that time, I've seen the California Dental Association come into our town and throw thousands of dollars into defeating the termination of fluoride during 2010 election. They threw money at the Democratic and Republican parties. Not one person spent a dime of their own money. Neither the Dems nor the Repub's did their due diligence. And they (CDA) lie with their astroturfing, pretending to be locals. Our children are all overfluoridated. Residents are driving 1/12 hour to Oregon to eat out and will not eat in local restaurants because they suffer from things like thyroid and kidney disease and cannot afford to risk their health eating and drinking foods prepared with fluoridated water. People who have to pay for water to the city are exasperated thinking they are paying to be poisoned. They have no freedom of choice and are having medication forced on them with no agency willing to provide a list of side effects. Our civil rights are ignored. Our health is ignored.

I'm not affected. BUT IF I ALLOW ANY AMERICAN TO HAVE THEIR "RIGHTS" TAKEN AWAY THAN I AM NOT AN AMERICAN!!!.....

The basic right to vote in Pennsylvania has been taken from us by a ridiculous requirement to show an "official" ID This was never necessary to do in previous history, and no such case of voter fraud in our state has been found to warrant this. This law only makes it hard for those who want to exercise a constitutional right. These same people are those who have the least access to the requirements expected by it.

Voter suppression in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania should not stand. Voting is the first right in a democracy, and stopping people from exercising that right should not be used as political tool by one party or the other. The more citizens that vote, the better it is for the country, and anything that diminishes that right needs to be fought tooth and nail.

State Representative Mike Turzai (R-Allegheny) told the Republican State Committee on June 23, 2012, that Pennsylvania's new voter ID law would "allow Governor Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania." He as much as admitted it will turn away eligible voters—mostly the poor, elderly and women—who traditionally vote Democratic. However, one thing it will not do—what supporters originally proposed at the law's inception—is prevent voter fraud. State attorneys defending the new voter ID law at a hearing will present no evidence that in-person electoral fraud is likely to occur this November without the law, according to a court document. The state and the parties challenging both agree in the court document that neither side knows of cases of in-person voter fraud in Pennsylvania. However, the new law could prevent up to 758,000 registered Pennsylvanians from voting! Our problem in this country is low voter turn out, not people voting multiple times! This is a violation of our civil rights and must be stopped.
