We are asking parents and family of K-12 children in Grandview to support the Grandview City School District in upgrading their policies and practice relating to controlling bullying behavior and acceptable conduct. We believe that the depth and complexity of this issue requires very careful examination and follow-through for the community to move effectively. We trust that the board, with the sustained support and attention of the Grandview community can make the schools an even better place than they are already. For the majority of students, the new attention to this issue may make no discernible difference. We are confident, however, that changes in what is considered acceptable behavior for K-12 student will, for some students, make all the difference. We are suggesting an array of measures that should be explored as policies are re-established and implemented. According to SourceWatch, State Farm Insurance is a major supporter of ALEC, the group that came up with "model legislation" adopted by a number of Republican-led state legislatures such as the Stand Your Ground law in Florida, voter ID laws that disenfranchise poor, elderly and minority voters, and the attacks on unions in Wisconsin, Ohio and Indiana. State Farm is different from most of the other members of ALEC because it is not investor-owned. State Farm is a mutual benefit corporation, a kind of financial cooperative, which means that it is owned by its policy-holders, pooling their money to provide insurance services. The money it gives to ALEC rightfully belongs to its policyholder-owners, and State Farm has no right to use it to fund ALEC's right-wing agenda. EDUCATION is losing ground in the United States. Many States, and locales are cutting funding to education, and recreation to "balance budgets" . Meanwhile,, for several decades, mass prison systems both public; but more private ; the largest prison system in the world ; enslave our children.

Unfair discrimination has now been proven by Dr. Saunders of the University of Michigan: mothers and children who are abused physically, psychologically, financially, and institutionally through vicious court battles are victims of strong prejudice by judges who simply are prejudiced against mothers and children. Dr. Saunders research proves that judges who mistakenly believe that all mothers make up domestic violence charges, that fathers and patriarchy are right for society, and that all judges make the right decisions are the types of judges who further victimize and punish mothers and children who tell the truth about domestic violence. The US DOJ, Congress, and the states must take action to protect mothers and children from abusive judges because it violates civil rights and is reprehensibly sexist. These judges are guilty of hate crimes against mothers and children.

Two days ago my manager expressed to me that I was the best candidate for the assistant manager position at work. He also informed me that as long as I did well at sales I would be more than likely to get it. Yesterday while at work I was second best sales person in the center. I also came out of the closet while at work. This morning I received a call from the general manager explaining that I was UN-trainable and that I had caused a disruption at work. He also informed me I was to consider today be my date of termination and to not bother coming to work. He then went on to say that I should not speak to any other employees or come into the office at all.

With all the issues facing our country the one that concerns me the most is voters suppression laws. It is so obvious to me and many others, what these Republicans are doing, suppress a segment of voters who traditionally vote for Democrats by lying and using the argument that they are trying to eliminate voter fraud, which is a total fabrication. People's right to vote is protected in the constitution. This extreme effort by these Republicans Governors is a very dangerous and slippery slope with devastating consequences for our country's future. We must protect that right for future generations.
